Gmookher Celebrated New YEARS: Bought SECOND one: BRZ's selling @ INVOICE cost!!!

Why do you need two? because racecar

Yup, I paid Dealer Invoice, $27,233 for a car with 8 miles on it. MSRP was 28,900, with a $2000 add on OVER MSRP, the ask was at $30,900. It had the chrome vent trip and some standard stuff, wheel locks, appliques, and full tank of gas, brandie new.

If anyone wants another one, they have a white MT, also AT INVOICE, $27,133 you need to mention me to get the pricing, they honoring a internet error... Its pretty uncommon to pay invoice for this car, so...grab it while its hot, the price is only good this week! PM me for details. EDIT , user BLUESLATE just bought it at invoice, I learned from a text I got from him..

Yeah, we test drove just about everything, and traded in our 2009 bmw 335i for a Black BRZ Limited...we were putting too many miles on the Blue 335 with our 1st BRZ still being up at Vortech, the bimmer is nice indeed, but the mileage we were putting on it @200 miles daily is too much to justify its costs, and when my BRZ comes back, its more track than a commuter with headers, coilovers, SC, and BBK. She wants something thats under warranty and not as loud for daily duty....So its so nice to have TWO '86s... It was this or a Mini Cooper S for her to commute in, as far as the 'other' car at the same pricepoint. We nix'd the Focus ST after 3 different days of extended test drives, we thought pricing on the Civic Si was stellar at $21,800 on sale. We loved the CR-z for urban dwellers, but not for high speed long distance. The JCW is where its at if you want a mini. Dodge missed the target with the dart. The used 1 series felt poorly sprung compared to BRZ.

This one is for daily commuting, and will stay pretty much stock to retain drivetrain and engine warranty. Well, minus a few minimum required add ons like drop in air filter...

Happy New Year!
Pics of the twins, well both BRZs at my garage coming soon!

I have a hookup thru this dealership to offer forum members and friends of mine the same deal I get as a repeat customer of their dealership, if you are interested in a BRZ at amazing discounts below MSRP, I do not work for subaru in any way. Contact me and I will pas along the savings, free. Beers, mods, or just a smile and handshake are welcome if and when we meet. Everyone should be able t get this car for under MSRP..

DNAPoPo 01-01-2013 01:39 AM

Where is this car located?

wbradley 01-01-2013 01:44 AM

I'd laugh if my wife ended up with a BRZ when her lease on the RaV4 ends in December. Actually it wouldn't be so funny considering we have a 5 yr old and my 14 yr old daughter from my first marriage. Oh wellI still have an ugly xB too several people have told me its ugly).

Congrats, man ! Or woman..

I cannot believe you bought a limited for $27,233. That's less than $500 more than what I paid for my premium. :party0030:

JoeBoxer 01-01-2013 05:21 AM

Nice deal Gem, nice to have a black and a white BRZ i am very jealous. If you need anything let me know and i will hook you up, lets get a small order of bolt ons together when you're ready!

Acree 01-01-2013 06:20 AM

I wish I could talk my fiancé into buying an automatic for herself. I would love to have two BRZs in the family.

Congrats!

I resided in Grand Junction CO for a short while, but am in Arizona now, the Colorado Plateau is a land formation, see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colorado_Plateau

its GREAT driving country out here! Some times I wake up early on a sunday, just to go rip up the canyons and switchbacks, waste a bunch of gas and end up with a grin and a bagel...

fortunate for me, I went thru the trouble of teaching her how to drive stick, and yeah, it was worth it, we now have two MTs...

MattZ28 01-01-2013 01:08 PM

Damn, that would be one hell of a drive home, lol.

gmookher 01-01-2013 06:08 PM

wow... I just heard two bits of good news:

B L U E S L A T E got another Limited BRZ at Invoice! in White MT

the other is that there are two more car at the same dealership, also available at INVOICE

one is Transmission: 6-Speed Manual
Exterior Color: Sterling Silver

and
the other is

Transmission:6-Speed Automatic
Exterior Color:WR Blue Pearl

PM me for details on who to contact at the dealership..I am not able to post their contact info, sorry, per instruction.

PRORICAN 01-01-2013 07:35 PM

Nice pick up, specially at that price!

Dave-ROR 01-01-2013 08:09 PM

Nice work man! I've been toying with the same idea except an FR-S or BRZ-P to make into a track whore and return the BRZ-L to stock... I just don't know if I really want yet another car at the moment.

ft86Fan 01-01-2013 08:14 PM

Thats a great deal. Congrats.

gmookher 01-01-2013 08:29 PM

Well our 335 was worthless on track gave 22 mpg and would be looking at a clutch soon and that's too heavy a tranny to mess with on my own. Rather than buy tires and clutch down the road in 2013 this offered me the ability to go full track with my choice of BBk and setup, on my swp which for me I can daily drive along with my m3

The wife is not ready to get busy with daily driving a track setup. Working on that tho...for now her black brz gonna keep its warranty for a lil bit..

bestwheelbase 01-02-2013 12:08 AM

Congrats! And here's to helping other members get good price on a new BRZ!

Sportsguy83 01-02-2013 09:16 AM

So Gem, has two BRZ's at least a couple of bimmers, an Audi S4, etc... Adding to the mystery, he and his wife have a commute of about 200 miles a day. The legend grows!!

I'd share more, but its classified....

B L U E S L A T E 01-02-2013 03:25 PM

Yup! All thanks to Gem!! Drove all the way from Cali and picked up my new baby with 10 mi on ODO at invoice! It was definitely one of the better car buying experiences. No drama no hassle. Originally was looking for Premium model was I don't care for the extras that come with the BRZ, but at this price, it makes the car extremely valuable. I was initially disappointed to find out my credit score took a hit from co-signing for another vehicle about 5 months ago which resulted me from getting top tier finance rate. But I the end, I still came out on top with excellent service, quick turn around, and of course, I got to drive my BRZ home!

I want to thank Gem again for letting me in on this awesome deal. Without you, I would have ended up in a FR-S this weekend.

gmookher 01-03-2013 09:48 AM

You are welcome, :happy0180: everyone who wants one can have one below msrp if they want one...the dealership seems to like to order Limiteds and sell them at Premium prices, so how can I not share that love?

Congratson your new car, how about posting up a pic?
any planned mods, or keeping it stock?
I bet you enjoyed that drive home :happyanim:

B L U E S L A T E 01-09-2013 05:16 AM

Well... it'll look exactly same as all other bone stock SWP BRZ so I'll skip the photos. lol

I'm planning on using this car mainly for canyon running and hitting the tracks since I already have my G35 sedan as a daily. ;)

Oh and yes, it was very fun on the way home although I kept it below 4000RPM........ most of the time. hahaha

DarkSunrise 01-09-2013 09:12 AM

Great job helping out a fellow forum member!

gmookher 01-09-2013 10:26 AM

they have more cars if anyone wants them..

xcelir8brz 01-12-2013 09:18 PM

You going to get license plates to say "HIS BRZ" and "HER BRZ" or "SALT BRZ" and "PEPR BRZ"?

Dorb 01-13-2013 09:54 AM

I own 5 BRZs in GT5. Lol.

Congrats man, you really do have the twins.

Jaylyons1 01-13-2013 11:01 AM

That seems awfully high for invoice. I paid $2k less than that. Is the white one a limited with all options?

that IS true invoice as verified on trucar! my rant is,you could have gotten into the dealer's ''holdback",and ad money,if you wanted to push it! did you finance?

DNAPoPo 01-13-2013 10:13 PM

Just wanted to add, the specific dealer is also offering 0% financing for 2 years! Not a bad deal at all, called earlier today to check out what they had left.

good luck getting them that low...they hold out, not that motivated to move it to folks I refer them. they have their own salesstaff to sell them higher. this dealer keeps getting allocation, while other PHX shops sit BRZ less, FRS less..

dntsan 01-14-2013 04:48 AM

Gem, can you hook me up with the info? thanks!
