These wheels look good on just about any car. Mustangs, Cameros, and of course they look good on the FRS/BRZ. These are 17x8, +45, wrapped in 225 45 17 BFGoodrich KDW 2 rubber.

The rear wheels have a 10mm spacer giving you +35 in the rear allowing you to rotate front to back.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

The wheels were purchased from ModBargains, talk to Jurrian if you want some of these awesome wheels.

Thanks again to Jurrian @ ModBargains for putting together a great deal on 8 wheels.

We'll definitely look to them again when the need arises!

Great pics as always!

What's the difference between going with 17x8 +35 vs 17x8 +45 plus rear spacers? Looks amazing, BTW. I think these are the wheels I'm getting after seeing your pics.

Unfortunately, they do not offer these wheels in anything other than +45 offset, which is why we were forced to use spacers. 10mm spacers aren't too big a deal. Def need longer wheel studs to accommodate the spacer. So, that's the difference.

It looks like they do now. Or am I looking at the wrong thing?

I'm pretty sure they offer them in 17x8 +35, Discount Tire sells them, but +35 is only available for the machined face and matte gunmetal...

I contacted ModBargains and a few other retailers after seeing this same information and they were not able to find them with this offset. It's weird that it's in the literature but they don't seem to actually offer it. I advised them to pull that information so that other people wouldn't be under the same impression I was. :iono:

edit: I'll be pissed if they magically started offering it a month after I purchased two complete sets.

Like their gunmetal finish, needs a little drop of course.

DarkSunrise 04-14-2013 08:02 PM

Yeah exactly what I was thinking actually. Springs or coilovers are next.

RedBRZ80 09-23-2013 09:21 PM

Dark sunrise - that's the setup I'm ordering soon. What tire size did you go with for that look.

215/45/17. There's a bit of stretch on an 8" wide wheel.

I'm doing 235/40 on the 17x8 s. pictures coming when they arrive.

Here's another set of bronze Nurburgring 17x8s with the +45 offset, this time on the stock Michelin rubber and with the stock suspension. Love the gray and bronze color combination. The stock rubber will be replaced next summer.

Nice setup, I just ordered mine today.

Damn, I can't wait, tires shipped today, rims should soon.

Argento_FR-S 10-01-2013 06:43 PM

I have these wheels in bronze and 17x8 +35 from discount tire. Looks really good with silver.

Nevermore 06-30-2014 12:23 PM

Anyone know if a 245/40 will fit on the +45 offset? I wish there was a +40, that seems like it would be better since +35 can poke a bit, and +45 might tuck in too much. Spacers are always an option too, though, but I'd rather not have them.

Da Brz 10-13-2016 03:31 PM

I'm thinking of buying these for my DGM BRZ. I've never bought wheels before.

Will the 17x8 wheels be a direct swap for my stock suspension and tires? I think the bronze looks awesome.

Yes, it's a direct swap. If you choose to swap over your stock 215/45 tires, they may look a little bit stretched, but it should be fine. I actually just ordered a set of these, 17x8 +35 Matte Gunmetal and should be installing them tomorrow. I'll be swapping over my 225/45 Champiro's for a slightly more meaty setup.

Edit: lol, just realized there's a post referencing that exact setup with stock tires on the 2nd page of this thread.
