*** Aggressive wheels? Post them up! *** Thread

I realize we don't have a thread for BRZ/FRS with aggressive wheels set-up. Many other forums have a consolidated thread for cars with aggressive wheels so why don't we have one right? I'm big fan of having aggressive wheels, and no, it doesn't necessarily mean it has to be slammed and hellaflushed. It can be just slightly lowered and with fat tires as well. So instead of going each member's build thread and check, let's have one consolidated thread so owners with aggressive wheels share their set up. We can also ask questions about offsets, width, tire sizes, etc. as well.

Requirements for aggressive are:
- Low offset wheels that sit flush with fender or poke a little.
- Stretched tires or fat tires don't matter since everyone has a different view about this.
- Slammed or slightly dropped don't matter neither since everybody has a different view about function > form or vice versa. It doesn't have to be slammed to be aggressive IMO.

***Disclaimer: I don't have an BRZ/FRS yet. Still waiting for more news and info of what is going to happen in 2014.

Pick your rocket bunny car and post. Chances are it's pretty damn aggressive.

Do you know if any fender work was required on these? They look great!

Sure, I edited the posts showing the fender work that was done to the cars, as far as I know. If it's blank, it's cause I'm not sure.

cool thread. not extreme as above, but i like the fitment. new alignment is much nicer than these older photos as well. my setup is 18x8.5 +30/+40, not as aggressive as the above, but its flush, no poke.

So is 9.5 considered aggressive on 86? What size would be the perfect for tracking? Ive seen people 9.5 racing on their brz

IMO as long as you have the right offset, it will look aggressive. Of course wider wheels tend to look more aggressive ;)...

Keep it going guys.

Larry, you know if car in post #7 has fender work?

feldy 01-01-2013 04:07 PM

Love this look. Can't wait to get my rpf1s mounted. What size tires and what's the alignment like?

Also nice tasteful job on the splitters front and sides.

Fronts should be fine. Rear lips are likely rolled.
