I see the 86 curse stops at nothing to claim another car... Even at the expense of a poor defenseless wallaby.

Thankfully you can fix er' up!

g0lden 12-27-2012 04:19 AM

I noticed your headlights are different than the lights we have in the states...you also got fogs. Are these factory?

Mr Franky 12-27-2012 04:20 AM

Yeah all factory. This is the high version or GTS. The GT has standard lights and no fogs. I think.

Toyota 86 and Scion FR-S are equipped differently with standard/optional features from factory.

In Japan/Asia and Europe, they get the awesome standard options for the Toyota 86 while in North America we get the silly Scion FR-S... With pretty much NO options... :sigh:

Killerbee 12-27-2012 05:44 AM

sad topic, poor wallaby :-(
on the other side, good to hear nothing happened to you.

chimmay 12-27-2012 06:22 AM

poor thing.

thats not a frs. its an actual toyota gt86 from the looks of it. if you want those head lights on your frs, that will set you back about $1200... i know, cause i wanted them till i saw the price tag >.<

Its not a GT86 either. Its an 86 GTS.
GT86 is UK's version. I believe the biggest difference is it has a little rear spoiler.

The day time running lights are oh so nice :) . All the little extras on the GTS over the standard GT (more similar to the FRS) are so worth it.

Poor lil man though :(. Really interested to how he ended up in that spot... I've only ever hit a fox. Hit it at about 70km/h and the fucker ran off. Tough one!
Was there any actual damage? It looks like its a bit bent?

BRAWL 12-27-2012 07:23 AM

The condenser looks banged up so maybe go easy on the A/C until you get it inspected/replaced. Otherwise looks like you got away with very little damage and lucky not have caused you to swerve off the road

you know, when i started reading this story, i had a clear idea of what to (or maybe what i wanted to) expect. based on the thread title and this line that i quoted, i thought you had hit him, but he survived. so you put him in your car, took him to a vet and became the happy owner of an injured wallaby. boy was i off. poor guy, this is depressing :(.

Poor little wallaby.

Grip Ronin 12-28-2012 01:54 AM

did u contact the wallabies family?

Exhaust 12-28-2012 01:57 AM

You know in texas, we worry about deer, hit one and keep driving because we eat them for good jerky anyway. Although the story is very sad.

Fixed.

no unfixed, you're secluding our cars again... it's just shit happens overall, even to other cars.. lol

btw "happens" is plural and the cars you listed are all singular, so therefor, only shit happens to one fr-s which is quite absurd, poor bastard :(

bestwheelbase 12-28-2012 10:56 AM

Came here hoping for a picture of a wallaby in the passenger seat.

Now I has a sad. :(
@Mr Franky you can fix this... by putting a wallaby in your passenger seat and taking a photo. Make it happen!:happyanim::popcorn:
