there will be a BRZ Premium Sport Package Concept on show, a Gazoo Racing 86/BRZ One Make Race BRZ race car as well as the GT300 race car plus the Boxer D4S engine.

the BRZ Concept will have cf roof, 19" BBS and other STI goodies like bodykit and exhaust.

TAS is on 11-13 Jan 2013. i will be visiting on Saturday and Sunday and will surely take some photos and post here.

If it's the same wheels that have been spied on the "STI" model, then I want a set! :drool:

I don't see pics? The STI concept wheels ARE available actually; though at $500-550/wheel for a cast Enkei...I'll pass.

You know what I want to see? Gazoo racing 86 vs the rocket bunny 86 in a time attack on the nurburgring.

And on further note, thats gotta be the STI. And a premium BRZ sedan on the bottom left????

It's prolly the same 19" BBS' as the S206.

Subaru can do it what it wants with the brz, 4 door sedan, or even a wagon,

...but I hope toyota sticks to it's senses and keeps the 86/fr-s as it is meant to be - 2 door performance coupe. :thumbdown:

I believe they mis-labeled the BRZ STI and the WRX images.

Mkvi supra for the both wrx's and brz's and image they used at the bottom left is an rx8.

Idk maybe a turbo for starters? Targo top? AWD? Different gear ratio's. It would be stupid for them to make a "PREMIUM" "SPORT" package and "dumb" it down to FRS specs like you suggest when the machines are practically the exact same anyway all to save what 2-3 grand? Thats completely backwards. Sorry, but your statement was pretty mind blowing.

Its 50/50. It will or it wont. But my point is they would be going totally backwards and possibly adding a 3rd brz to the line up with your standards would be the exact same as of the FRS. Thats a waste of money and a shitty marketing move. I say if not a turbo its definitely a more sporty package versus whats available now for the BRZ with a cost of 36k more than likely.

It's probably a stripper model without any feature comforts sort of like the Evo 9 RS was. Although it may be a model with an appearance package added like wheels, stripes/logos, and various other goodies that don't make it any faster.

Maybe useless for him. Look at Lance's have almost all the stuff (front, side, rear kit, 18" wheels... & last time, I've heard, he's adding something on the spoiler). So it's all up to some ppl ;)

Yeah, but it's not an official product. It's said on the PDF file "CONCEPT". My bet is it's a same one concept we saw several months a go (pics by Hachi) and added several STI parts. They're currently seeing what customer seeing is worth making and selling.

I, myself, wanted that classic Subaru 4/2 brakes. I'm hopping they make one for 86/BRZ, so I don't have to do full custom work on it ;)

Anything over 18 feels too big for this car, and even that is pushing it for some people.

With a car this light it'll only weigh it down, not to mention hurt track handling as pointed out in a previous video. I wonder what they are thinking with this concept. Really it makes no sense.

No, the white & green combo one. iirc that one had a tan leather interior stuff. (this is my guess) They prob gonna use that w adding those STI parts and call it good. :iono:

Totally agree. TRD & Tada-san said, 18 is perfectly fine (as long as you setup the suspension correctly)... but 19? IDK, I think Subaru is hiding something and I think, they'll announce it next yr (again, this is my guess & IDK ANYTHING)

Your right, this may be some kind of placeholder for what they plan to do in the future. However, I agree I think that 18 is plenty. 19 is really pushing it, unless they plan on going 420+ theres no need for it. If anything you defeat the whole purpose of the car itself, which is a track monster.

You never know. They might sell DIT FA20 equipped BRZ around 2016 pushing 240~280hp.

If it was 86/FR-S, purpose of this car would of been, not making monster power car. BUT for Subaru side, that's not the case. Subaru motto on this project is "Confidence in Motion" vs Toyota is "Built by Passion, not by Committee" & Subaru only stated their goal was to make the engine low as possible... so they might dish out something different down the future... but I wouldn't hold your breath on it ;)

This to me, is just dressing the BRZ up in a suit. Not worth the likely $3,000+ price hike it'll incur.
