I don't think that is matte white. I think the pearl is making it look matte due to the lighting. It is likely a production pearl white.

Damn that is a sweet looking white!

It's matte white, but a slight metallic version (Satin white Pearl). I took those photos.

I think it's that Satin white Pearl that Subaru has it on their WRX right now, here's a reference.

But if Hachi says it's a new Subaru Matte White, then it's prolly a new White we haven't seen From Subaru.... but funny thing is Toyota is getting the Satin white XD

All it needs is gold wheels and its officially a Subaru. LOL

I hope BRZ comes in Plasma Blue, I will hunt down STI dark colored wheels to put it on my BRZ if they come in Plasma blue XD

No way that makes production, you can not buff a matte clear coat.

It was probrably just the lighting at the show I like it alot too but I wish I could see it in black and red and a better shot a the silver.... and WRCII blue is growing on me, it's alittle different from the WRX current WRC blue.... or am I wrong and the WRCII blue is only on the BRZ sti concept.

You are aware of the fact that the factory production SWP on the STi is gloss cleared? It is entirely possible they went with a matte clear for the show car.

man somebody confirm that there will be matte (technically satin since it has flat-looking clear coat) finish from factory and i`ll be the first one in line...

You could always sand the clear down and then spray it with a matte clear at a quality body shop. this is nothing money could not solve.

let's be honest, if we had that kind of money, we wouldnt have waited for the fr-s/brz for this long haha...

That is the very same reason why a matte clear paint would suck. You can simply polish clear coat, with matte clear you have to sand off the scratched clear and re-clear it. That will not be cheap. :/

The white FR-S is regular white while the BRZ has the Satin White Pearl
that's already in production.
so yes it will be real.

no one was questioning if SWP was real. The issue was the appearance of the matte finish when that color is indeed NOT cleared with a matte on a production STi. Same paint, different clear coat.

it hasn't been confirmed that SCION didn't just renamed the colors so, we're still at square one with this, Im for one putting my bet that this is SWP on that BRZ and it's the same as the ones on the Impreza wrx right now.

Has anyone seen a PS of a black matte? I bet that would look amazing. With gunmetal wheels...and red tails of course.
