My parents anniversary is tonight and my dad is taking my mom out to eat in my car. He has driven manual cars before but not in a long time. Dear god let him get it home in one piece.....:burnrubber:

I told him its rwd so don't gun it in the corners he told me its okay his truck is rwd. I tried to explain to him his truck weighs about 5 times my car. The subaru dent protection plan might come in handy today.

RWD is seriously NOT as hard to drive as so many people on this forum make it out to be. It'll be fine.

how old is your Dad...if its their 75th wedding aniversary then I'd be worried. Can you fit walkers in the trunk?

He'll be fine as long as he doesn't try to show off. Which he likes to do every moment he gets.

I'm sure your dad will be fine. Your mom is probably going to be sick from him going sideways in the corners!

I let my mom drive my FR-S every once and a while even though it's really pretty low. She has a lease and needs to keep the miles off of it but I really know she just likes to take the on/off ramps quickly! Let's just say I trust her driving.

However she just sold her 73' MGB and I'm sure the FR-S a much easier manual to operate.

Lucky for me, my parents hate how low it sits .. They don't ever want to sit in it again

My Dad took my car out a few weeks ago to show it off to my Uncle (his brother). I was in the car so I was more comfortable than in your situation. I think its fun that our parents are envious of the BRZ.

Like they say, it's like riding a bicycle, I wouldn't worry about it.

However, they'll probably scuff the crap out of your interior getting in and out of it though...

Take a purple light all over the car just to make sure the party didn't go all crazy, and there is no "stuff" left behind.
