-Engine, at least some aspects of it

likes!:
-fun driving car
dislikes:
-overpriced toy! little redeeming social value

-final verdict: love the f**king thing!
just don't hit anything with it,OR get hit!

While I miss the noise and the kick that VTEC supplied, I only have one dislike.

This is a bit of a shocker, but I find the car too fast.

I can't drive around with my foot to the floor because I would just be exceeding the speed limit too much.

Apart from that, I love everything else.

Handling, very sharp and precise, feels very light
Automatic gear box is very respectable

Stock rims are awesome (although everyone on here seems to hate them)

Stock speakers suck. Was expecting much better sound for a sporty car

-torque, makes driving in NJ traffic better. My previous Legacy GT would take 2 seconds before power kicked in.
-MPG. FR-S is getting 26mpg in city, Legacy Got 19mpg.



Dislike
-I hate the seat belt loop. The buttons keep on coming off. Plastic loop or adjustable height would be better.
-No seat height adjustment in the front of the seat. Driving long distance is going to be painful. I like the Legacy GT seats better.
-The suspension is a little harsh. Hope it softens over time.
-Intermittent wipers, too slow on the fastest setting.
-Missing miles left on tank of fuel.

And you can control the speed of the wipers even on intermittent, there is intermittent adjustment you know

I like the style, size, price, the fun of driving.

I dislike several things. I dislike fake, as in vents on top of fender that aren't real, vents where driving/fog lights should be that are fake, sound tubes that are fake, dual exhausts that are fake. Also (this is a repeat) this car screams to be a hatch back and not a coupe with a trunk lid.

- Philosophy (cheap, simple, fun, stylish)
- Neutral handling and low CG
- Responsive 12.5:1 NA engine that's fuel efficient

Dislike:
- Stock wheelgap

Likes: RWD, LSD, Boxer Engine

Dislike: Not enough of the engines potential brought out, should be sitting at 200WHP from factory IMHO

1. Small ass trunk...I can hardly fit anything in here, much less a Subwoofer box....

When I think of how difficult it is for me to contort my 78 year old body in the back of my FR-S to clean the rear window I think fondly of how easy it was to accomplish that task when I raised the rear hatch on my CRX.:thumbsup:

To be honest, a step in the right direction for toyota

dislike:
i want a tad bit more power to help with the highway drives. the less time i spend passing a semi, the better

i hear downshifting works,at least it always did!..just sayin'
