Tylub's Raven Black FR-S (Pics)
Hello, I thought I would start a journal since I have been modding my car here and now and I like to take pictures and look at my progress, so here it is
I picked up my car on July, Friday the 13th! (lucky lol) HISTORY my car history began on may 6, 2011 and I got an rx8 r3 because that was my dream car. What more could I want? bose, bucket seats, aero kit, sport bilstein suspension, suicide doors, and the rotary engine. Driving it was great but in august of 2011, some idiot in a pickup was playing with his phone and radio and smashed into my car in the rear quarter panel and put $17,000 worth of damage into my car. I loved my car so i made my insurance keep it and fix whatever we could. fast forward to april 09, another accident... this time as I was making a U-turn on a green arrow, an old lady runs a red and smashes into me at 50 mph, launching me onto the curb and totaling my car. the car had $38,000 worth of damage, bent frame, etc. that became a bust and broke me heart. Thus, I got some insurance money and picked up a little fiat 500c, that little sucker was fun to drive but lacked the power needed to get around and on long drives and uphill, the poor little engine sounded like it was going to explode. traded that in for the FR-S and here we are! Engine -Perrin LW Crank Pulley Exhaust -Perrin Headerback (over pipe, catted front pipe, non-resonated catback) Wheels -Rota Grids staggered 18x8.5 (225/40/18) 19x9.5 (255/35/18) Hankook Ventus V12 Springs -CG 35mm Lowering Springs Lights -6k HID's -Custom Blackout Housing -Morimoto xB Angel Eyes -F_T LED DRL's -Cree Reverse Lights -LED Turn Signals Interior -Full LED Light Swap Exterior -Rally Armor Mud Flaps -Grimmspeed License Plate Relocator Future Mods -Turbo -Tommy Kaira Spoiler -Rear Diffuser/Under panel -Big Brake Kit -Coilovers -Tune -Flex Fuel Kit -Aero Kit -Beatsonic Shark Fin -Beatsonic Roof Spoiler w/ 3rd Brake Light Relocator |

been having some rattling noises in my interior from 1800-2200 & 2700 rpms... been driving me nuts since day one but never had any time to fix it. finally got some time and whoa and behold, now they might give me trouble for it because of my mods to the car. great... -.-
|
will get some nice shots of my car once I get back from Maryland. Car rides great with my setup and looks beautiful! have gotten nothing but compliments from everyone I know, even complete strangers
|
Love the mud flaps. Even when you had the stock wheels, the mud flaps gave the car an aggressive look in that rear shot. Well done. :w00t:

i say these CG springs were wonderful. ironically they rode better than stock but only on dips they were a little bit noticeably rougher. last picture is young's frs on the same 35mm CG springs |

got my custom black out housing done and installed halos as well! :w00t:
The halos are so bright that I had a very hard time trying to get a picture of them. They look absolutely fantastic in my opinion and as does everyone that I have encountered so far! Just trying to mix it up and stray from our chrome headlight look During the day, they look really aggressive and adds a nice touch to the car. At night, they look different from the norm. Does not blind oncoming drivers as well as I have not been flashed yet. Also lights up the peripherals nicely and has a nice ambient glow to it. |
