Installed my Berk Technology Dual Exit Muffler Delete (Pic's and Video)
Update - Video!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bz-O4...ature=youtu.be I took some time tonight to install my Berk Technology Dual Exit Muffler Delete. My first impressions were that the pipe was well built with solid welds and nice tips. I'm not a fan of huge exhaust tips and these ones seemed like just the right size. The install took all of 15 minutes. I did the install on the ground. Lifting the car is not necessary unless your car is lowered. The hardest part is trying to get the hangers to slide off the mounts of the OEM muffler. Installing the Berk pipe after the original muffler was removed took about 5 minutes. The pipe utilizes the two rear hangers and comes with allen key tightened stays. The tips fit nicely in the cut outs with about a half inch of poke on each side. The centering is spot on. The tips are a little larger than the OEM muffler and fill the cutouts nicely without taking up too much room. This pipe sounds awesome. It's very loud for the first few minutes and startes to quiet down as it warms up. There is lots of rumble down low that smooths out as revs climb. Throttle blips sound nice and are followed by a few hearty burbles. This exhaust has very little drone when cruising in 5th and 6th gear. Overall, I am very satisfied with the Berk Technology Dual Exit Muffler Delete. This quality kit is very easy to install, well built, sounds great, and is very affordable. TL;DR. Berk Dual Exit Exhaust is good. Go buy one. Can't wait to see this. I'm considering this, I'm just wondering if it'll be too loud so CA and all if its rules.

I'd say the delete is good for a 15 pound weight loss. I can't find the thread where it gave the information for the actual weight loss, but its somewhere around 15. Quote:

So sound differences between the Berk and Work ones? One being resonated the other being straight pipe.
I want one of these 2 but don't know which yet. Also want to know best place to get it in Australia |

This has absolutely no problem passing if you have the stock resonator/midpipe on.
We've had one on our car and it definitely passes the "girl test" as well. |
