BRZ Christmas Gifts?

I'm trying to think of some relatively cheap gifts (<$50) that I can ask for to truly start swagging out my BRZ...suggestions?

I was going to say some nice Rally Armor flaps but you quoted 50 dollars, so I say this.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...9SIA12K0DU0183

Small, 32GB of space for endless cruising tunes (well it will end eventually).

Reverse LED's, i changed them mostly for safety reasons, the LED ones are a lot brighter and look better.
Also could change interior with LED lights as well...and license plate lights.

easy: drop in foam filter by perrin, adds horsepower!

wish I could find autoart 1:18 diecast models of the BRZ already... I'm sure they're coming but right now all I see are 1:43 and 1:64 models, and those are already running $40-60 a piece. :eyebulge:

Not really interested in building/painting a plastic model... insufficient skills :sigh:

Yep, its amazing what you will pass off as a Christmas gift. Was not planning on buying until spring, but they had what I wanted and my wife said just get it - Merry Christmas. So it was coming one way or the other, this way she just doesn't have to buy me anything for Christmas. lol.

FRS mud flaps. They look great on the BRZ.

Same here apparently. Even though I pay for it, the wife allowing me to get it seems to be my present.

Manual states headunit has a limit of 8GB for USB drive.

Anyone tried larger??

I use a 16GB thumb drive. No issues. Here's what I use:

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005FYNSZA/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00"]16GB SanDisk Cruzer[/ame]

Khazzy 12-05-2012 10:26 PM

Seriously? hmmmm well even with 8gb still a ton of tunes. Wonder why they restricted it.

It could be the SD card they restricted the 8GB to for the nav data/maps

32GB SanDisk Cruzer working fine for me...

Not really specific to the BRZ, but a nice addition to the drive... driving gloves. http://www.leatherglovesonline.com/n...m#page=details
You can get them for under $50, and you can definitely get them for over $50

Picking one of those up for sure!

stratodyne 12-08-2012 04:30 AM

I've got my 32GB loaded to the brim with music. Most human ears cannot tell a difference in quality of MP3 files, so long as the bit rate is at 160Kbps or higher. So bring those bit rates down, and load a crapload of music on there!

My Chritmas gift is my BRZ which will arrive on the 25th of December at the Rotterdam harbour from Japan and delivered during the 1st week of Jan at my dealer ! :-)

chadstyle 12-08-2012 09:19 PM

Hmmm for $50?? I'd go with a full tank of 93 octane.

Uhhhhh not so sure about that, especially on car speakers/other high output speakers you can easily hear the clipping on the highs and lows...I have 36 gigs of music and it's all either 256, 320 or higher. While yes I do DJ and produce, I also can't stand that "radio static" sound that low quality rips have. For those of you who don't know, the difference between 160 kbps and 320 kbps is roughly the difference between normal radio and a professional CD. Anyway, not to start flame war. My FR-S was my christmas/birthday/graduation present, but I am asking for an FR-S T-shirt from http://bestwheelbase.com/. Talk to @bestwheelbase and see if he'll cut you a deal, he's cool :)

Anybody know a good source for winter floor mats yet? My dealership said Subaru's won't be until February. (Umm...helloooo...) Last I checked, weathertech didn't have them yet, either. Ideas?

I am looking for a set of these also..

Doug&Julie 12-15-2012 09:31 AM

I ended up ordering some Lloyd rubber mats here:

http://www.autoanything.com/floor-mats/79A4424A0A0.aspx

They should arrive around Christmas. I'm told they'll need a few days to air out, but otherwise they're pretty good mats. They'll have to tie me over until I can get factory or Weathertech!
