Toyota 86 Survey

Hey Guys

Did you all also get the 86 survey sent out by a company gathering info for Toyota?

It's basically a bunch of quentions of what you like, don't like, needs to be changed, etc. One very interessting question was:

What would you be willing to pay for a supercharger?

Interessting...:w00t:

Yeah I received the email for the survey..."turbo or supercharger" was the response to alot of the questions....I hope this research company send a clear message to TSA. :bonk:

How much did everyone say they were willing to spend for a supercharger out of interest? Interesting bunch of questions.

R40k ... supply and fitted by toyota...based this figure on the current price of FI out there and add little bit for the name....lets hope if FI does come they don't price it like the BBK :eyebulge:

Vic_RSA 12-03-2012 03:07 AM

I said R20k - time for some real value for money LOL!

JouMaSeHoes 12-03-2012 04:07 AM

I also said 40k . . . great minds and all of that. . .

sav 12-03-2012 07:47 AM

R20k

R40k would push the High spec up to R370k where it would find itself in between some very stiff competition.

BTW
130i would be very close, even without dealer discount.

JouMaSeHoes 12-03-2012 08:03 AM

Good point, but it would make the SC Std absolutely wicked!

I would obviously rather pay 20k, but I doubt that we would see it here for that little.

sav 12-03-2012 08:25 AM

True but if you look at what they've done with the Auto I reckon SC would only come in High spec.

JouMaSeHoes 12-03-2012 08:31 AM

Too true.

I would love an RC spec one with an SC.

Cheap AND Nasty!

sav 12-03-2012 08:42 AM

It would probably be more nasty than cheap with the exchange rate as it is. R300k for something that would probably only be good as a weekend car. There are cheaper and better ways of doing that.

Vic_RSA 12-03-2012 09:16 AM

Must be honest, RC Spec, steel wheels, black bumpers... I could forgive the lack of luxury if it had more power. Everybody would wonder which kit-car just killed them at the lights! LOL!

Also imagine the Class T (or even A) contender for (formerly Wesbank) Production car racing!

JouMaSeHoes 12-03-2012 09:26 AM

Would be an awesome "project" car.

But wouldnt be able to resist smoking a GTi with a normal looking one with an SC hidden under the bonnet!

Rossi 12-11-2012 02:10 PM

Looking at prices of TRD parts, it is gonna be expensive, but I have heard rumors of a TRD Superchager kit coming
