New Trunk Lip Spoiler from WestCoastProjects

Hey guys, we're a company new to the FRS/BRZ market and recently became a site sponsor.

We mainly do high quality Carbon Fiber Infusion Aero pieces with everything designed and produced hand made in the United States from start to finish.

Here's a few pictures of our trunk lip spoiler that is very near completion.

A group buy will be posted in the sponsor's section with some great deals for you guys.

We have many more products in the works so please keep us in mind!

We'd like to give special thanks to Matt Andrews on the FT86 boards for working with us and for his patience.

Hmm nice but to small for me

JoeBoxer 11-30-2012 11:03 PM

Perfect that is exactly what i've been looking for. I'm glad i didn't order the Stillen. Can you get it in anything besides CF? I'm going to be painting it anyways would rather have a cheaper material.

Thanks for the responses guys!

We currently don't have definitive plans on producing it in anything other than 100% Carbon Fiber. However, our group buy pricing is going to be competitive to the point where you'll probably choose it over fiberglass regardless. :happy0180:

_F-R-S_ 11-30-2012 11:48 PM

Make it bigger?

Lonewolf 11-30-2012 11:50 PM

Nice to see some subtle offerings...not all of us like park bench wings

diirk 11-30-2012 11:51 PM

Perfect size and material

Sounds good, any chance of a group buy package deal with front lip also? I'd have to see it first but if it's similar to the Evasive one i'm in.

cantaloupe 12-01-2012 01:01 AM

Guessing this won't fit the limited brz...

Flow 12-01-2012 01:27 AM

I'm a huge fan of this. Now I just have to figure out what to do about my limited's spoiler holes if I go with this...

GT86drifter 12-01-2012 02:15 AM

its like a smaller version of the 5axis

travace 12-01-2012 10:25 AM

depending on pricing i could run this. i still like the Carsmo one a lot but this is not bad looking.

edit.. Post #500 weeee

Ricepuddin 12-01-2012 12:43 PM

Wes 12-01-2012 01:42 PM

This is nice! I like it along with the Seibon one, but if theres going to be a group buy that competitive I'm interested~!

gmookher 12-01-2012 01:44 PM

website? rest of your product line for other platforms?

Innova 12-01-2012 01:45 PM

I love it. So sad I have holes in my trunk. :(

mRdeMs83 12-01-2012 02:23 PM

Website shows a list price of 350 not yet in stock. Hopefully price stays the same because this is the lip I want on my 86

That's not the group buy price.

I believe I'm not allowed to list any prices unless it's the vendor section so we'll have to refrain from that. But as mentioned before, this is for a 100% Carbon Fiber Infusion piece that will weigh in right around 1 lb and handbuilt in the United States. :party0030:

Thanks for the responses/opinions guys! We'll have updates with more pictures and release dates soon.

i_4got 12-01-2012 04:52 PM

I'm liking it. Any idea on when the groupbuy will start? If it's a good price, I might get this instead of the Seibon one.

me too!

Leonardo 12-03-2012 03:35 PM

Love it! Exactly what I want!

soros151 12-05-2012 01:16 AM

watching. Any other material besides CF?

PMok 12-05-2012 02:23 AM

definitely interested. nice that it's a small spoiler that slots in between the really minimalist ones (Grazio, Stillen) and the medium size ones (TRD, FiveAxis, Seibon SN). Great to have so many options, everyone's bound to find one that they like...

WestCoastProjects 12-06-2012 05:14 AM

Thanks again for the responses guys!

We should have updates coming up for you very soon!

i_4got 12-08-2012 06:48 PM

Any updates on the groupbuy?

BugeyedWagon 12-08-2012 07:29 PM

Too bad my trunk has holes in it :(

Jason@WestCoastProjects 12-08-2012 10:44 PM

Hey guys, thanks for patiently waiting. We are finalizing a few more things but expect to see a group buy thread later tonight!

Jason@WestCoastProjects 12-09-2012 02:43 AM

Our group buy is now live!

U-S-A! U-S-A! That alone is reason to buy :)

+1, I was wondering this as well. Does it?

Matt Andrews 12-09-2012 12:11 PM

West Coast Projects built this on my car. They did a good number of test fit and adjustments to make sure it was "just right". I'm looking forward to getting mine. :)

Hey guys,

Sorry we didn't have the brz limited in mind when designing this wing. I'm not 100% sure about covering the brz limited holes as we do not have access to one at the moment and I can't seem to find a picture of a brz limited with the trunk removed. I'd have to take look at where the holes are and how big they are.

Another member installed the Carsmo spoiler over his BRZ holes, check out this thread (pictures of the holes are somewhere in the middle of the post):

It looks like the side holes might be too far forward to be covered, but I could be wrong.

Xenocide117 12-10-2012 07:39 PM

That's certainly puts the "B" in subtle. I like it.

Thanks anyway! I sure like the looks of that. Very discrete like a high end euro tuner look.

Thank you for the link! That was very informative. Unfortunately after looking over the pictures we can confirm it will not cover up those last two holes. Sorry BRZ limited folks, our spoiler cannot cover your holes. :(
