Is anyone else having the issue where absolutely everyone is riding their ass? I was doing chores today and just driving around 5mph above the speed limit and absolutely everyone was up my bum today.... this is not ok.

like i said in the other thread, wiper sprayers work well, as does downs-shifting, and letting off the gas. you start slowing way down, and they'll be forced to do the same. once they go to pass, i usually stomp the gas. :D

It's black friday, sucks but better to stay off the road today and get away from those crazy shoppers

No seriously though sometimes you are going like 40mph and they are like 5 feet from your car. Like what the @!%&? Freeways get even worse, but I just focus on getting to the destination. Nothing extra/stupid.

Yeah Im starting to think thats what it is too. This didnt happen to me yesterday or the day before when I picked up my car and drove it home from NYC.

Funny enough the only kid that didnt do it drove an R32.

Happened to me all day yesterday even in rural areas. Got a lot of use out of my middle finger.

I heard this complaint a lot on the Miata forum. My thought is that you're possibly driving a smaller car than you did in the past and the guy behind you might not be any closer to your bumper now than he was before. However, because you're closer to your rear bumper than you used to be in your bigger car it looks like he's closer because he's closer to you physically.

With that theory in mind I've never felt I had a problem, even on a motorcycle.

EVERYDAY OCCURENCE! I can be on the way to school at 7AM and there will be someone right on my tail.

They're trying to get closer to get a look at what type of balling ass ride your driving. Duh! :bonk:

I don't have this problem. Probably just bad luck of the draw today.

After installing my Invidia N1 people have backed off.

I live in LA. Tailgating is basically the norm.

Gailgating is the norm to use the car in front of you as drag so that you can get better gas mileage, we get it. :eyebulge:

Getting better gas mileage is great...until you end up in their bumper and you're getting no mileage. :thumbup:

People ride my ass non-stop when I drive my BRZ, but SC drivers suck regardless, no matter what I'm driving.

People were riding my ass way more than normal today..... i think its
just friday stress.

I wasnt even driving my frs so it def wasnt that! Some asshole in a G37... soon as i tapped my brakes a few times he got the point

It's weird, I've never owned a car that I've had people ride my ass so much. At first I thought it was people catching up to see what it was, but now it seems like pick up trucks, and luxury cars want to sit right at my rear bumper especially in traffic (annoying because their lights are blinding with our cars being so low).

Never got this in my GTI, Genesis Coupe, G35 Coupe , Lexus IS, etc. very strange...

Ok glad to see I'm not the only one with this problem. I'm going to toss this one up to capitalism and blame Black Friday like the Ruski that I am.

A nice, solid nickel out the moonroof usually suffices...oh wait, there isn't one :(

Lol I have not had anyone try and race me. Most people that pass me by in tunners or nice cars usually know what this car is for. I just have soccer moms in Q7s riding my ass all day lol.

I considered that this was a shorter car, but Ive driven an S2K and I had a motorcycle Im pretty sure its not the underestimation of the length.

I drive my FR-S like I ride my Triumph cafe racer.......like a hooligan! I have no problem running some dumb ass that messes with me off the road. I don't ever fuck with people on the road but it seem this car attracts the feeble-minded like moths to light. Earlier today I had some punk in a ghetto shit-can special try to race me!

Funny story. Was walking to my car today I saw there was a cop parked in front of it looking at it... I was thinking shit its probably because I dont have plates yet. Go up to him and ask if there is an issue. Response: Sharp ride man. How much do these go for?
