IIRC You just had to press and hold the Odometer button while turning the ignition to Accessory on the 1st gen tC... hopefully it will be something similar for the FR-S/Celica/BRZ.

Sounds pretty nice, but there is no way to be sure these are actually sounds from this car so...

There's little reason for them to make this up. They'd ruin their reputation if they faked these so I doubt they went to such lengths to trick readers.

They had an actual test drive of the prototype so it makes perfect sense that they would have grabbed and posted some sound clips.

Any 2000s car made by Toyota corp will be able to do so, not only Scion line up, not sure about LFA.

I can't wait to hear this thing on a dyno, but sadly it aint got that I would die for Lexus LFA engine sound. I guess I was expecting too much. LOL! But for a 4 cylinder it sounds hella good! Sounds smooth!

Always sounds completely different to me in person. Like my exhaust sounds raspy / high pitched in soundclips, but it's because most mics can't pick up the bass or the computers' speakers aren't good enough. It doesn't sound totally pathetic, but actually pretty healthy though for a 2.0? 4 banger. Sounds almost like a V6! Not like it's going to stay stock anyways ;P I see the rice pipes coming already.

Turn signal sound is a dealbreaker. Sorry Toyota, it was fun while it lasted.
