things iv gathered from the scans:

-Fender vent is functional
-different style console gauges for TRD version
-LED headlights and Normal Headlamps are not interchangable across models AKA fenders are slightly different.

keiri 11-15-2011 02:36 PM

I will be scouring eBay to purchase one of these training manuals. This is history and I want to own a piece of it...along with my car. :)

Thank you so very, very much Stefan!

don't get your hopes up. that whole section is just a general FAQ for people interested in customizing. it just basically tells you what the specs mean for wheels in general. i don't think it means the FRS will have 5x114 necessarily

First, thanks to the OP for posting these scans.:bow::bow::bow:
Second, OMG!!! Looks like it is 5x114.3 pattern. This is fabulous news :party0030:. Now I am wondering if the Suby has 5x100.

Dinc 11-15-2011 02:40 PM

This is bad a**! Hopefully we get all this goodies stateside.

ydooby 11-15-2011 02:40 PM

So the MKII concept wheel will be available as an option?

I knew it! I never lost hope!

Now if I can only be right about my price prediction for the Scion version....

TMNT 11-15-2011 02:43 PM

Thanks for sharing

cyde01 11-15-2011 02:44 PM

guys honestly most of the pics the res is too low for me to read and translate it. also mostly everything seems to have been leaked already. only new info i've gleaned so far is there are alcantara/leather seats available on high grade models as an option, and that they tuned the induction noise for better sound.

the last few pages are from japanese car mags such as best car and xacar, and it's hard to tell what is based on speculation and what is based on fact. best car speculates that the toyota version will have softer suspension than the subaru but still moves really well and is comparable to a cayman. they also speculate that aside from the already known 6MT and 6AT, there will be a transmission available called "aMT" but they don't know what the hell it's gonna be. possibly double clutch? they also speculate that a 500 unit limited edition model will be available at launch, but they have no idea what it will include. take all that info with a grain of salt.

CndnSol 11-15-2011 02:44 PM

Awesome info provided!

5 x 114.3 isn't a bad bolt pattern. It's the same used by Accords, RSXs, etc. With such a large aftermarket wheel product line available, it will be easy to source out custom wheels (unlike my current bolt pattern of 5 x 120).

Three options: audio less, gps option, or three extra gauges.

Tyandriel 11-15-2011 02:49 PM

maybe someone could translate the titles of these 3 red versions?

Thanks for the translation cyde! So the Toyota will have lower height AND a more comfortable ride? Interesting. aMT may be referring to the "alternative" MT with track-optimized gear ratios?

keiri 11-15-2011 02:52 PM

Also, since we're talking audio it seems the car comes with the following:

High spec

25mm (1")tweeters
160mm (6") speakers
65mm (2.5") speakers

Low Spec

160mm (6") speakers

If I'm reading those dimensions correctly.

Giccin 11-15-2011 02:56 PM

Great find!

RRnold 11-15-2011 02:56 PM

3 extra gauges!? What else can you possibly need to monitor... oil temp, oil pressure and a/f ratio!?! :bellyroll:

old greg 11-15-2011 02:59 PM

Can someone translate the two kanji on the front cover? I'm curious if it's part of the name of the car (which appears to be 'FR Sports')

ydooby 11-15-2011 02:59 PM

Dry weight = 1,190kg? Then why does the spec sheet say 1,210kg to start?

Longhorn248 11-15-2011 03:02 PM

The fenders don't appear to be uniform across the different models. I'm loving the TRD body kit.
