Things that I'm worried about...

This car is super cool and I really want a new car but;

This car is the size of the H S2000? OOoooh... thats not a good news. I can barely fit in that car. My knee are all the way up to the dashboard:(

No armrest ? now seriously wtf???!

Steering wheel. I hoped that they gonna put the same steering wheel that they have in the tC2... that steering wheel is so freaking SWEEEEET!

Btw I'm still debating between this and the Hyundai genesis coupe 2.0t track package
I dont care about gazillion horsepower. But the genesis coupe is perfect size for me. I know its big and heavy but i dont want to take on porsche cayman.i wont even take it to the tracks.

Haters will hate! OMG ITS A SKYON!!!! BOOOOO!!!! ( I have a scion and i love the community. Scion throwing us parties and car meets every year. But some ppl should get a life.... To me it doesnt matter what kinda logo is glued to the bumper. Btw scion finished 1st on the consumer reports reliability)

^^ LOL

Tl;dr you don't like it cuz its small and don't mind its a scion.

Its actually a little longer than the s2k. Maybe you should test drive one before you judge it. And people have brand prefrences even though they come from toyota. If you like it drive it.

Dark 11-15-2011 12:41 AM

You will be ok if you're under 6ft.

Matador 11-15-2011 12:41 AM

Get a genesis.

Or if its a cloth top you can try to get some stretchy material in place of the regular top so when you have it up it just fits around your head like a hat.

Lol love Wing's pic.

To the OP, then buy a Mustang or Genesis coupe then. To me the whole selling point of this car *is* that it's small. Sick and tired of cars getting big and bloated.

I love how most people back up car is a GC/Miata/Rx8/S2k. To see a Hyundai on the list shows peoples perspective of the company is changing because of one car. I still dislike all other Hyundai's except for the GC 3.8 Track.

You got to give respect to the GC since it now will be rolling with porsche 911 level power of 350 hp!

.........what....................

the GC v6 has 350hp but weighs at 3600lbs and has a 0-60 in 5.7sec

vs

the 911 carrera with 350hp but weights at 3200lbs and has a 0-60 in 4.8sec

they will not be rollin together in the same performance bracket

except the v6 coupe will have 333 not 350bhp, which for those uninformed, is being used in the v6 sedan

Both 0-60 are false. The Genesis coupe V6 is 3,430 lbs and the current model does the deed in 5.4 seconds. The 5.7 time is a underrated time from Hyundai. The 0-60 will be in 4.8-5.0 seconds with 350 hp and the Porsche will do its time in about 4.4 seconds with 350 hp.

I already give it respect without the extra 40 hp so I know it's good.:respekt:

What is this doing here? This post has nothing to do with things you are worried about.

bad joke.

n2oinferno 11-15-2011 10:26 PM

I'm really not worried about fitting in the FRS/BRZ. I'm 6'3" but I can fit in all three generations of MX5. The NB Mazdaspeed was really close to being too tight, but it was still doable.

Driver 11-22-2011 11:58 PM

The same steering wheel as the TC? I dont see them sharing anything with the TC or any other Scion's. I personally dont want them to either. The more they innovate specifically for this car the better IMO.

It's not the same wheel.

Buggy51 11-23-2011 12:28 AM

What? no one cares about the possibilities of bad blind spots?!

:word:

2012 911 82k
2013 GC V6 31k

Yeah your right bro..but nobody has tested the 350HP version of the GC...its could get into the upper 4 sec range.....:iono:

I never said they would be rolling in the same performance bracket but they will be running the same power...oh and the current GC V6 is around 3400 pounds according to the hyundai.com site. So 200 pounds more and $50K less...hmm. I would still take the porsche 911 if i could afford it but I will still give respect to the updated GC...
