Up here you'll always find the actual state of the Car as well as the Part list and where I got the things.
If you like to see the history of the car just scroll down a bit Wingo currently looks like this http://www.gt86-club.ch/Files/gt1.JPGhttp://i.imgur.com/B1XUWHu.jpg http://www.gt86-club.ch/Files/gt2.JPGhttp://i.imgur.com/bfpFdvA.jpg Partlist: Exterieur: -Toyota Aero Kit (Front/Side/Read Skirt / Rear Wing) -> http://www.toyota.ch -Chrome turning Signal Bulbs Front and Rear -> http://www.ebay.com -Debadged the Toyota Lettering and GT86 Logo on the trunk -Waxed with Maguiars Liquid Wax -Grazio&co Solid Color Front and Rear T Emblem in matt black -> http://www.japanparts.com -Valenti SB Taillights and SBR Lower Rear Lights -> http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34499 Interieur: -Toyota Center Console Armrest -> http://www.toyota.ch (Part Nr PZ435-10340-00 for LHD) -Yospeed Decepticon Wingo Centerplate -> http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23480 -Alcantara Cluster Hood -> http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/jpm/ -TRD Shift Knob -> http://www.japanparts.com Suspension / Wheels: -Eibach Pro-Kit, lowering about 1" -XXR 527 Flat Black, 8.75x18, Continental SportContact 3, 245/35/18 Engine: -TRD CAI -> Ebay -5zigen ProRacer ZZ Cat-Back -> http://www.undergroundracing.ch ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I finally could pickup my GT86 today and therefore also like to start my Car Journal on it. It shall be know from here as "Wingo", for kinda obvious reasons:-) Its a White GT86 with the Factory Aero Kit installed, got additional "Toyota Touch'n'Go Sat Nav, other than that normal specs. First Pictures show it after it fell of the truck, you can see that the Aero kit has not been installed fully at that day. Next Pictures are some snapshot's I've made today after I picked it up. It had 7km on the ODO when I picked it up. Last picture shows Wingo in his sleeping place, right next to my Celica Supra. Hope you enjoy the pictures, will post some more on the weekend. |

Plan looks like this atm: - Wider Wheels with 245 Tires - Tinted Windows - KW3 (however not sure if it will be to low, maybe just lowering about 1" or so) - some minor cosmetic changes Nothing more planned as I'm pretty happy with the factory pack Quote:

18 rims and spacers + eibach and it's perfect!

Wider 18" Rims are already on its way and should arrive in the next 2 Weeks. I'll see after those are fitted if I'll go for the KW3 then. |

Lowering and 18" rims is a pretty good decision. If you get all Parts we need more pic's. |

sooooo. Today my first super performance upgrade arrived from japan.
it is....... THE TRD SOUND CHANGER :-) hehehehe, no, being serious for a moment, I was just sooooo curious how that should work so I had to get one. My expectations are quiet simple that I'm being ripped of with some overprices plastic crap with TRD printed on. However, what would live be if you would not spend some money on crap you can at least laugh about :-) Well, anyway, it arrived today. Remember how it always looks like really big pipes on the pictures? Like that one here -> https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...13287770_n.jpg Well I've put a iphone next to it to show how huuuugeeeelllyyyy big they are ;-) So, I've payed about 100usd for 3 little plastic pipes that are smaller than my little finger... so in a way, they already met my expectations. Have not yet installed any of them, but I'll post some updates here as soon as I had some time to test them |
In the German forum we've talked already about this things. Would be interesting to hear the difference.
100$+Shipping for 3 little plastic pipes? very expensive i think. :iono: http://forum.gt86drivers.de/index.php?page=Index |

I've already installed the Red one, but cant really hear any big difference yet. It sounds a bit more agressive under load. However, I havent Rev'ed the Car over 4000rpm as I'm still breaking it in. |
Great, now i have to clean off my keyboard.

some nightshots. And yeah, I know, my Cam sucks :-)
|
I was also tempted by the sound changers, but $100 (delivered to France) put me off. And I really like that wing!
