Nice! They look good on your ride. Been thinking about these in hyper silver for mine. Looking forward to the weekend for the get together too, waiting to see all the awsome rides, and meet fellow owners!

Need more pics that arent from magnifying glass plz :)

I was gonna mount mine today but for some reason my wheel lock key doesn't fit so I'm deciding on getting a new key or going to shop and have them bang it off.

Mine will be 8.5 / 9.5 +45 in hyper silver with 235/255

Got a shop to bust off my wheel locks. Put my wheels on just in time for this storm, slushy flakes and rain right now so pics maybe on the weekend.

Sharing pictures of my new wheels.

Thought you guys might like this, I just bought my Enkei Tuning Raijin's in hyper silver they're 18x8.5 45mm offset with a 235/35-18 up front with 18x9.5 45mm offset 255/35-18 in the rear. Stock suspension for now, I know the tires look like crap but I didn't put any shine on them yet these pictures were taken literally right after I put them on and I didn't think of shining them first.

Pictures: I would invest in a camera. I was wondering how those rims look. Now, I have a faint idea.

No one likes a whiner. Buy them yourself and take your own damn pictures.

Ryuu0u 06-04-2013 01:14 PM

Nicely done! I can't wait till I have enough for my set in gun metal. Probably going to go with the eibach pro kit or RCE yellows since everyone is raving about them.

KSpider 09-17-2013 04:28 PM

Enkei Raijin's installed

8.5 235 squared... can't wait for my STI lowering springs.

I have the STI springs on order... I don't really have a use for coil overs for what this car is for to justify the cost of quality ones...

tinma 09-17-2013 09:02 PM

looks really good! glad to see those on a non lowered car before i buy those rims :P i cant lower my car in my city :( roads r just way to rough for a lowered car

Why Sti Springs?

I ordered a bunch of other STI parts... figured Id order the springs to stay with OEM. They only lower the car about .6 - .7" too, so it isn't that big of a drop, which I do not want.

Were you just curious or do you have a reason not to?

Paul_GT86_dxb 10-03-2013 04:27 AM

Nice!! Thanks for the photos! :D Looks really good. :coolpics: Performance-wise, did it feel heavier than the stock? Made much of a diff? Planning on getting the same set up. :party0030: Thanks.

Hi, I was planning on this exact setup. No lowering either, just the rims & tires. Do you have any regrets or rubbing issues? Thanks!

mike the snake 12-13-2013 12:06 AM

You won't have any issues with that setup, especially at stock ride height.

There's no fittment issues at all with this setup. I'd just suggest you so symetrical because before I got my coilovers I was getting some understeer which is annoying as hell.

JonnyJames 12-19-2013 08:37 PM

18x8.5 in the front

Wheels are 18x8.5, tires are 225/40 pilot sports, and the setup seems to be making the occasional rubbing or clicking noise in the front... Other than that, car drives great...

Question is, will this or could this be problematic in any way long term with stock suspension? Thanks!

Jonny
