Add a front splitter to balance the front/rear ratio and make it even more functional and you got a winner there.

Thank You! Eibach Multi Pro R2 coil overs with external reservoirs. It's a very nice set up that Eibach has developed. I'm also running their adjustable front and rear sway bars. I can't wait to get this thing out on the track!

I totally agree with you. We just ran out of time. This car is my daily driver / track car so I needed to stay somewhat conservative. It's not illegal to drive around with a GT wing(I don't think).

Nope, not illegal. I like to flirt with that full track car/street car line also :)

Thank you! 18x9.5 +40, 265/35/18 all around. But I will probably go down to 235/40/18 when I get the car back.

Supermassive 11-03-2012 05:17 AM

Love the wheels...I just bought mine in Satin Black but the Ray's rep told VividRacing that they couldnt get my wheels with the machined out pockets on the 18x9.5 +40. Yours clearly has them so I'm a little sad now because i really like the way they look.

Does it scrub at all with the 265's? That's one hell of a setup for sure! Sorry for all the questions as I'm taking down notes and doing my homework for when I return from the desert! lol

This is the chargespeed kit right? Looks amazing

This is a VERY aggressive tire set up for the factory fenders. We literally bolted on the wheels the day we were shipping the car. All we did were are few "slalom tests but everything cleared.

The front does rub against the inner frame at full lock. We are going to try running a 5mm spacer to remedy this. A narrower tire will fix this also.

But I'm curious to see how 265s all around will perform on the track.

Thank You! This is actually the Stillen lip kit. It's all urethane so it's very durable and less prone to paint chipping.

It could be that satin black isn't available with machining yet. These are matte graphite.

fuddbutter 11-04-2012 01:20 AM

The weight of all them stickers must kill the performance?

Looks pretty though :)

Thanks for designing such a nice kit! Great job!

philstar 11-13-2012 09:00 PM

will you still be drifting this or is that what the AE86 is primarily for? or will this be primarily road course / street.

I think its so cool that you have such a perfect example of perfect 86 style on your AE86, and are one of the innovators on the forefront of FR-S style! Not to mention they are both RED!

I want to drift the FR-S. I'm also still working on the AE86 currently. I never plan anything that far ahead. But both cars are set more for street and drift performance. In the near future I plan on driving the AE86 less on the streets and trailering it to the track. The FR-S serves as my daily driver and track car so I'm trying to keep it somewhat street legal.

Thanks so much for the compliments! I don't think anyone's ever called me an innovator. I just do what I think looks good, functions and works for me.

GC GTS Aero Kit 11-16-2012 03:25 AM

Looks nice man but why oww why with the tacky stickers ruins the whole clean look

humanshield 11-17-2012 12:24 PM

there were a lot of FR-S examples at SEMA. This was one of the few great looking examples. nicely put together sir.

mines13 11-20-2012 03:51 PM

Need to see some under hood shots of the front reservoirs mounted.

Saw them at SEMA, they look awesome! We are big fans of the Eibach coilovers here at TAP Auto, we've used them in several builds, most recently a 700whp supercharged Z06.
