Dynosty sets Quickest and Fastest FR-S BRZ World Record
 

We had the opportunity to get the Turbo Scion FR-S to the 1/4 mile drag strip, and while we arrived later than anticipated, we were able to squeeze in 2 runs before they closed Lucas Oil Raceway for the season. The FR-S passed tech inspection and lined up in the lanes, as the announcer stated “No more vehicles to the lanes – this is the last pass of the night.” The first pass down the track yielded a 11.1 @ 127.9mph on a soft launch, setting the current world record for Quickest and Fastest FR-S / BRZ. On the return road the track official was kind enough to wave us into the lanes again considering we only had 1 run. The second pass backed up the 11.1 with an 11.2. There is a lot left in the car, and we hope to get to another track before they close for winter. Stay tuned for more!

appreciate what you guys do but saying "world record" just because theres only 2 people in the world that have a BRZ with that much power is a little sad.

I'ts like being proud about wining a second place in a competition that only 2 people showed up.

talk to me about world records when theres 100 people competing for that place.

Look man, if its the truth, then let it be. No one here likes all the "down talk" you do ALL the time. Its getting really boring. They are what they are, whether or not its 2 or 2 billion companies making kits. The car has only been out so long and thats not saying much either.

I bet youd see much more fast brzs if more people bought the car for that reason. Many people id say 85% of them aren't buying these cars to go fast. Also given the time of year by the time the shop cars have been completed their local tracks have closed. If you want another " world record " contender, go build one, let us know how it does.

I'm going to be getting 400rwhp... this is exciting! Must be in the low 3's in 0-60!

Get some more practice on that thing and it'll be in 10's for sure. Perfect the launch.

The only requisites to make a record is to be the fastest of all, doesn't matter if you are the ONLY one or have a million other competing, it is STILL a record, so what's the point of bitching about it? Pioneers deserve credit on what they do too so why not give it?
