I've got the same coilover setup and when it was set that low, I found it to bottom out during spirited driving (let alone speed humps etc).

I raised up about 20mm from lowest on the front and added 7-clicks of damper front, 3 rear. No problems with normal driving or most speed humps now :)

Looks fkn pimp that low though, well done!

How do you find the Invidia exhaust? not too much drone, meaty full throttle etc? Thinking its probably the one for me....

Jesse 10-17-2012 11:10 PM

its not too low yet, you just have to be careful, i know the roads around here pretty well, and i can still make it into my steep driveway.

the invidia is awesome, looks the best and sounds awesome at idle. no drone, just good deep sound, and it dosent scrape like my AP would on bad roads

whitefrs 10-18-2012 04:48 PM

how many threads do u have left on the coils in the front n back?

MotivConcepts 10-18-2012 05:07 PM

Your car looks great!

didnt change setting out of the box from BC at all, i will count next time i get my wheels off. still need an alignment haha.

CharlieChaos 10-18-2012 06:04 PM

I like the mudflaps they look good! I mean whole car looks good!

Hippophobia 10-18-2012 06:42 PM

I am now sold on both the vent visors and mud flaps. I was worried about how they might look not having seen good pictures of them but wow.

Jesse 10-18-2012 07:56 PM

Love those 2 things! Adds a unique style

chaotichoax 10-18-2012 10:58 PM

The vent visors/rain guards are a great functional mod but it's just stupid how expensive they are.

I do agree that the mudflaps are a good look.

Eightysexy 10-19-2012 04:28 PM

sexyyy! how is the bc racing coilovers btw? Comfortable?

love them, mine are almost full stiff so it rides much harder than stock.

try2findmark 10-19-2012 04:48 PM

Wow, sweet ride love the white on white color combo!

Jesse 10-20-2012 05:32 PM

ordered a five axis trunk lip spoiler, also doing some deep thought on the next set of wheels.

Kmurph 10-20-2012 06:11 PM

Did you trim those Mudguards at all, because I have been looking at picking up a pair. But I hated how much the front ones stick out. It looks like your front ones are tucked in quite well. Was just curious

nope, no trimming. i just pushed them in as far as possible. (has a decent sized washer type mounting to adjust them side to side)

i need to trim the bottom though somehow, its currently trimming itself because they rub from being so low haha.

Jesse, what kind of front-plate bracket do you have? If it's one that's easy on/off, your front-view shots could be even sweeter ;)

M3power326 10-21-2012 09:10 PM

Love it man! Love the photography too. What lenses do you have?

I have a Canon 7D and looking into an ultra wide angle like the 10-20mm. I like your fisheye pics too. Makes me want a fish eye

DIM 10-21-2012 09:15 PM

I love the look of stock body being slammed. Looks great!

What's your next plans?

M3power326 10-24-2012 09:29 PM

I'm having a hard time deciding between the Sigma 10-20 f/3.5, Canon 10-22 f/3.5-4.5, or Tokina 11-16 f/2.8

ive actually heard great reviews on the tokina wide angle. f/2.8 is nice for car shots

my next lens is going to be a macro, than a wide angle mid range zoom

also,
do you have a 35 or 50mm f/1.8?

Yeah, so far I have...
o Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS FLD standard zoom
o Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM prime

After an ultra wide angle, I want to get a nice sharp telephoto zoom. I've read a lot of great reviews on the Tokina as well, that it's very sharp even at f/2.8.

How are the white wheels holding up? I'm debating whether I should get white wheels for my Whiteout, but I'm not to keen on cleaning them every time they get dirty. Do you find they get dirty really fast?

if you wash, clean and wax them often you will be fine.
i already have 14000 miles on mine, i drive it alot every day.
if i want them really clean, id have to wipe them down every 2-4 days with some spray wax.

ive grown to love the white on pearl white paint, it brings out the color and pearl so much in person.
