As hard as they are pushing the FRS concept i really hope i comes out looking close to it. If not then a special package or whatever because they are hyping it up a bit.

Gona contact you saying there is a "colour" with a "transmission" in your area or something maybe o.o? Or could be some kind of survey they are trying to get a statistic for.

Yea, knowing how scion likes to market expect to see a butt-load of commercials coming out around release date. Idk how many times ive seen that tc commercial where its driving through the street that's breaking apart or the "Zeus" tc commercials. I just hope that future Frs owners dont turn out to be equivalent to most Tc and Civic owners.

very cool. still very excited...by the time this gets out i may have paid off my S2000. might actually be able to sell my scion and pick this up as a daily driver.

I think they have color choices because they want to know what are most wanted colors. Same about transmission choices.

I like the fact that for colors they actually show them as opposed to listing "light blue, yellow, orange, red...etc" so you can get an actual idea of the hue

Seriously though I drive an auto, it really takes the control of driving away. I'm guessing with the extensive research done on this car it will have one of the best feeling shifters for a budget sportscar, I don't want to miss out lol.

Mmm true, but for me, I've really only driven auto and never had any friends or family (had one) that actually had a manual around that I could learn. So well, as much as you can say driving with just auto transmission would take things away, I wouldn't really know. I don't want to miss out, but well... I do need a new car as a daily driver and my finances would not allow two cars (I dread the thought of insurance). I'm just hoping that this will be a nimble car that I can use as a DD. Much added bonus that I can fit into smaller parking spaces in SF lol.

And note, Giccin, Maybe you're right about having worse drivers in SF... I don't know why anyone would want to tailgate you at a stop sign on the high slope of a hill -_-;

Even if its auto, it still rolls backwards... asldkfjalsdjflavjer *sigh*

I believ auto trans cars actually cost more than manual trans cars. Plus, auto cars' trans are more expensive to repair and work on due to the more components in them (i believe).
