Looks like you have a nice mod list going, but you can't put some money aside for jack stands? Seriously, it's very dangerous and there have been plenty of stories of cars falling on top of people due to using only floor jacks or improperly placed jackstands. Just be wise when working around your car.

Will be watching the progress of your car.

those sparco sidemounts.. do you think they sit you the same height as the stock seats? do they go forward and backwards?

yea they are about the same height as the lowest setting of the stock seats. They also slide back and forth. the front of the seat is not set to the lowest so that my seat can lean back a bit by setting the rear to the lowest.

Surok 10-21-2012 05:15 PM

Awesome, I will have to grab some then. Thanks for the reply! :-)

ATL BRZ 12-11-2012 04:19 PM

oh jam those seats are nice!

djdnz 12-11-2012 04:21 PM

The GramLights look really nice, any more pics? I was contemplating those myself, but I figured the offset was a bit more agressive than I wanted, at a 1" drop and minimal camber.

zc06_kisstherain 12-11-2012 04:25 PM

looks really good. i like. not fan of painting caliper though

Turbowned 12-11-2012 04:47 PM

its a LONGG wait for them. Im on a 1.5" drop with Tein Flex....around -2 camber i think. Fits fine, the wheels and setup were designed to fit flush specifically for our cars.

ill take some more pics later

Sac-BRZ 12-11-2012 07:20 PM

Nice car. I want these wheels bad.. Just got finshed buying billet wheels for my truck that was high dollar, would be in the same boat with these. haha

Jeff86 12-11-2012 07:22 PM

The gram lights look amazing! I like the idea of a show set and a go set. Have you put TPMS sensors in both sets? Perhaps moved one of the sets from your stockies?

YangerD 12-11-2012 07:29 PM

Nice looking car you got bud. Also loving the screen name lol, I'm guessing not everyone will know what it means :P

Have to becareful driving it cuz the tires are stretched a bit and the wheel sticks out from the tires. Wouldnt want to curb these expensive wheels. I couldnt go wider on tires since it would rub and i also wanted the most similar rolling diameter to the stock 215/45/17. Had to get 225/40/18, and to have minimal height difference between front and rear, i got 255/35 in the rear. Any bigger it would probably be rubbing anyway. My dad keeps calling me dumb cuz the tires are too small for the wheels LOL. He doesnt like da idea of his son wasting money on something stupid that doesnt help me be any faster on the track. He is all about racing.

SupraRon 03-12-2013 10:10 AM

Nice build. The car looks great. I especially like the height. Have you noticed an increase in acceleration with the Perrin pulley? Also, how come you decided to go with a 7.5" track tire? Just curious.

Thanks,
Ron

funcheung 03-14-2013 12:14 PM

I just happen to see it on clearance sale at shop at a REALLY attractive price. I was just planning to use stock wheels for track before. u wont feel anything from the perrin pulley. the difference is like between acceleration with an extra person in the car and just yourself.

Great looking car.

Are the Stoptech BBK the 328mm or 355mm size?

I remember seeing you at Shannoville last year around October, it was pouring that day lol.
