BEST SPRINGS?
Hey Guys
i wanna lower my car but cant afford coil overs right now. what springs have the best drop but also a good ride. i wont track my car its just for looks. |
I have Eibach sportline springs it lowered it 1.4 in and i think it rides better now. I have always had good luck with Eibach though.

Race comp engineering makes some killer springs for subarus. Eibach or Hotchkis usually have a decent all around spring for reasonable price.

that looks great but i feel that im gonna go moar low lol

If the springs are fresh they'll settle a bit lower. Don't forget there is a "too low" and it happens quickly.

H&R super sport is a pretty low drop for springs and also Tein S Tech. I have H Tech going on mine don't feel comfortable going over an inch.
|
Please don't mention S Techs in polite conversation.

As JoeBoxer said, anything over 1" and you might start to worry about negative effects on handling and tire wear. |

Tein s-tech 1.5 drop This is as close as your going to get to coilovers. Any lower and your in big long term trouble. |
did you have to use a camber kit in the front with the eibach sportline?

I generally dont recommend lowering springs, but if you must i would only suggest Swift springs as they specifically engineer each application to suit the stroke range of the factory damper. They are the most widely used springs in of all pro racing in Japan as well as many Le Mans race teams and Nascar teams secretly switching over to Swift springs.
Heres some more info on their springs and their benefits http://swiftsprings.com/faq.html |

According to other sources, the BRZ fronts are stiffer and rears are softer compared to the FR-S?
