Other than the frs I saw in traverse city I have not seen anymore. Are there anybody else in Michigan that has an frs or brz?!

I've seen some posts in the "I seem to be alone here" thread from folks in Ann Arbor with BRZs. I don't technically have one yet but I'm slated to take delivery of my FRS sometime this week or early next and I'm in Plymouth.

I'm in the Grand Rapids area I've had my BRZ since July.

I've had an FR-S since May 31. I live in East Lansing.

Grand Rapids as well, had mine since the start of the month. There's another FR-S owner here in GR I know who picked his up a week ago.

Novi. My BRZ is supposed to arrive Oct. 18th

Waterford, had mine since June, 7,500 miles already.

In all honesty it's my woman's car. I might have of had a very large influence in picking this car though...

She's absolutely loving it so far and I will get to drive it from time to time. But my primary mode of transportation is either my ninja or Tacoma.

He definitely isn't, although I'm yet to run into him on the street.

saw a white BRZ on 131 headed southbound just north of GR on friday...

Speaking of, just dropped the taco off at Toyota of GR this morning for the new frame :D plus tbelt/water pump

Finally got mine this afternoon and spent the evening aimlessly driving around Canton, Northville, Plymouth, Novi, Livonia, etc etc. I suspect I'll be doing a good deal of that.

Thanks! I can't believe there is another FR-S anywhere near me much less in the same city. I had never seen one off a dealer lot until I got mine. I'll keep an eye out for you though.

I'm in Wixom. The car is currently in Ohio though... temp tags expired and I still haven't gotten the title to get plates :-(

I'm no legal expert but there should be a way around this... like a "renewed" temp tag or something... I'd go in and ask

Clarification: they expire tomorrow. I'm allowed to get another 30 day tag from Ohio, problem is that I work in Michigan. Tags would expire before I would be able to get back for the plates (assuming I had the title) or the next set of 30 day tags. I have to find the time to go to the BMV and fill out a "dealer complaint form" and presto, new 30 day tags. Not that worried about it though as the car is washed and parked in a garage. I'll be back down there in the next week or two and hopefully I'll be able to get this resolved one way or the other.

Slightly off topic, but autocross at Belle Isle Park in Detroit this Sunday, any one else going?

Ha, I didn't see this. I wasn't planning on making this event, and looking back I probably should have... it cost me second place for the season in pro class for the Detroit Region by 1.4 Points to Shawn Alexander :mad0259:

It's supposed to be rainy, windy, and miserable... But I only need 8 points on overall index and to play points blocker in Pro Class to end up second for the season in both results... so rain, shine, or snow I shall be there :bonk::burnrubber:

Ann Arbor here. I've seen another brz around town too.

It sounds like the majority of you guys aren't really from the metro detroit area... more ypsi/AA and west or north, but would anyone be interested in a small get together? I was thinking maybe a morning or early lunch in Sterling Heights at Kart2Kart one weekend before the weather gets any worse. This is probably my last fully booked weekend for a while, so I should be able to make some time.

There's more than one BRZ and at least 2-3 Scions. Saw a silver one just the other day.
I'd love to hit up kart2kart, haven't been there since last summer.

K2K is a blast! I'd be down for meeting there. It's about 1 hr 45mins from gr I believe.

Although Race Rochester in rochester is cheaper. RR is $15 for 10 mins and i think K2K is $20 for 8

The silver one was the most recent sold by Dunning Subaru (I was offered it but passed because I want the color I ordered). My GBS is next and will hopefully be here by the end of the month before the weather really goes south. Fingers crossed. I just saw red BRZ/FR-S (too far away to see exactly) this morning while heading to work.

Maybe early afternoon? 1ish?

Any ideas on a good place to meet? Maybe we should get an idea who all is in and try to meet somewhere in the middle. I'd be up for a drive to Detroit or Ann Arbor and all points in between.

Unfortunately I can't do sunday. Dropping my BRZ off friday for detail and opti coat saturday and picking it back up sunday night.

Anyone interested in a thursday night aa meet up or something like that? looks like a few of you are from the area.
