37 Attachment(s)
No new information folks, other than the standard info so far. Won't be long anyway. Hopefully see this car's reveal at Tokyo Motor Show in early Dec.
But here's plenty of pics at least :) Attachment 2155 Attachment 2156 Attachment 2157 Attachment 2158 Attachment 2159 Attachment 2160 Attachment 2161 Attachment 2162 Attachment 2163 Attachment 2164 Attachment 2165 Attachment 2166 Attachment 2167 Attachment 2168 Attachment 2169 Attachment 2170 Attachment 2171 Attachment 2172 Attachment 2173 Attachment 2174 Attachment 2175 Attachment 2176 Attachment 2177 Attachment 2178 Attachment 2179 Attachment 2180 Attachment 2181 Attachment 2182 Attachment 2183 Attachment 2184 Attachment 2185 Attachment 2186 Attachment 2187 Attachment 2188 Attachment 2189 Attachment 2190 Attachment 2191 |
Nice one
Cant believe no new info though. |
Thanks for the pics.
I don't see what is different. I suppose 17 inch rims will be standard. Wonder if there'll be any optional 18 inch rims. |
I'm praying to the gods of J-Land for a brochure leak sometime near November! That'd be perfect!
|
whats with the scaled down model?

They did that with the MK1 FRS as well just as a cash grab from the crazies (us?) who have been following the car and wait a piece of its history I guess WOW seriously Subaru and Toyota why no info?!?!? |
Ha.. I hope the motor comes polished like that.

Cool but
When we can look under the white sheet at the back of the room ? For look at the design BRZ |
Looks like the new engine. throttle body facing the front...
|
very clean! I wonder if the intake manifold will remain reversed in the BRZ.
So the oil filter will be on top now?? interesting. |
Really fantastic detailing on that display.

Hachi, thanks for the update. Is there an unveiling of the concept
like the Scion FR-S @ the NYIAS or is this it for Subaru?! |

And as for that engine, it's really nice to see the oil filter on top. Thank you Subaru. |
I guess both companies are maybe in agreement not to let out any specs till Tokyo. And I agree with Dragonitti... Shiny!

K, when we change the TMIC to FMIC it looks like this http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/impor...fmic-04wrx.jpghttp://rusubaru.com/wp-content/uploa...fmic_large.jpg cut down that long pipe and less lag, you wanna rotate the throttle body 180 like this http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/749...8engine031.jpg Most WRC STI do it and also some of time attack STI also http://image.turbomagazine.com/f/254...engine_bay.jpg |
I won't buy less than 200 hp.
God Bless, Bill Ivins |

Bling Bling~!!! The only thing missing is, the real car needs to come with 22" bling bling rims instead of those wimpy 17's. :bellyroll:
On a different note, the standard 215/45/17 tire size means both 235/40/17 and 245/40/17 will work well.:happyanim: |
Can we get it in the Orange like the Sv
Would look fantastic |
Uh oh those 2 engines look like they have the same dimensions, there goes my hope for continuously variable valve lift, unless they did something completely crazy.
But thanks for the pics! So shiny lol. |
Hachi, always a treat to see your pictures :thanks:. But I see that you forgot to watermark :(.
I saved them for later viewing. Hard to see through all the shinyness but at least I can see the sparkplugs now. Quote:

That is honestly kind of sad because I think high performance tire selection is better with the various widths in 17". |
subaru guys, any sign of the dreaded TGV in the display???

Also, I like where the oil filter is positioned! It's like of like the current Tacoma and makes changing the oil a breeze. http://www.toyotaoffroad.com/Article...2005tacoma.jpg |
Perhaps I'm old-fashioned, but I rather like the oil filter being next to the drain plug on my RS. Having said that, I don't mean that the new design is bad; it's just different than what I am used to. If there is any benefit other than accessibility, someone please let me know.

For one thing THATS ALOT OF CHROME!:eyebulge: haha!
When I got the email this morning I was hoping that the BRZ to have let say a real body. Whats the hold up we now have a concept of the FRS and two concepts of the FT-86 that have even been featured in Gran Trusmio 5 (my reason for lovin the car) now I know the ins and out of showing a car before its offical final model but why do I keeep seeing this glass case.:mad0260: If they want to keep me glocking at it well they did a good job because I so desperately want to see what the body will look like and we all know the end model will look nothing like this glass cover....or will it. |
Thank you!

Still gotta get under there to get the oil out of the oil pan. Unless you want to get a straw and suck it out through the the oil filler spot.
