Yawn. At least I know I'm not getting one in that color. Why would they choose this over the white in the video? Maybe it looks better in person...

It looks the same Color as the LFA SUNSET ORANGE ( 9K6 ), I love it ! This is my favorite colour, I'm hopping they'll sell it with the final version !

nice I thought the original mkII choose a terrible colour for showing off the lines of the car but this one isnt too bad I still would of liked to see white or blue but this is acceptable to me hahaha

This looks like a very bland generic car that was riced-up. I so much more like FT-86 MkI of Scion FR-S. I hope the BRZ come up with something new a better looking than this. Also color is shit IMO, looks like the 1 Series M in Valencia Orange.

Don't you guys see the Toyota emblem?! Why would Toyota release "another" concept or even the final production before Dec in Tokyo.

The Frankfurt show is to show the Subaru BR-Z concept so until then, we can all relax.

meh, this is not news, but thanks for the heads up OP. What I really want to see is the BRZ, let's get some info on that!

Hated that color in the first pictures, but I think it's because the watermarks draw so much attention. The second set of pictures below are a bit more vivid, and wow does it look nice.

I don't know why people were expecting the production version either though. Didn't they state that it was just the second concept, repainted?

I don't know how anyone can be interested in this car and not be frustrated by the lack of information. Yes they've said that the car will be unveiled in Tokyo, but why not give us at least some details to get excited about? It just seems dumb to show this concept in a different color and hype it up with a new teaser video. Put up or shut up, I say. Hopefully Subaru will have something.

I would much rather see a bright orange like the Chrome Orange of Lotus.

Because all the details are not finalized yet and probably wont be for a few more months. The production version is still going through testing as well as probably getting revisions and changes up until the reveal at Tokyo and possibly some small revisions after that too. They don't want to release the final details and find out they have to change something major and go back on their word.

They could still state the specs on the concept like other manufacturer do...

That's fine, but I just don't see point in painting this concept a different color, and releasing that video to hype it up. How about they just tell us when they have some real information to reveal about the car, or if they are going to play this hype game, give us something to actually get excited about. I would say my excitement about this car peaked with the first concept. Since then everything they've come out with has been a disappointment. They are hyping this car up to be the return of toyota, great driving car, etc. but who really knows.

I don't mind the color. At least its something different. I would have loved to have seen it at least on some different wheels. I don't like those. But anyhow, nothing new right, we werent expecting to see the production version here yet.

can't wait for the real car. toyota's teasing gets under my skin and every time they come up with a "new" concept i lose more and more interest in this car. give us something tangible or nothing.

listen, most people wont go on the internet and type in "cool hip new cars to look foward to" on a google search to look for stuff they havn't seen. they'll see a commercial on tv or an ad in the paper for a car show displaying those cool cars to look forward to and thats when the interest begins. i think they are just trying to make sure the interest is there for this car. not just for the car enthusiasts but for the would be enthusiasts that would be their "toe tap" in the pool of sports cars
