Slight drop, world of difference.

Installed a set of Eibach springs on our FRS last week temporarily because we're waiting on our KW V3 coilovers to come in.

specs on the white rota grids? is it 18x9.5 square?

diirk 09-18-2012 03:48 PM

wheeldude, all the pics look great. To add to deedzman's request, I'd like specs on all the wheels pictured.
Also, which Eibach springs are you using? Camber kit?

I'm planning on black Rota Grids in the near future, and you're the man for them.

AJUSA.com 09-18-2012 03:49 PM

Looks good to me!

What's going on with the rear camber? Blue is horizontal based on the rear bumper, green is exactly vertical based on the blue line, red is your camber.

I hope you don't mind, I got bored and added some things to your beautiful car

A very "square" kit, darkened tails, exhaust, and lip spoiler :party0030:

Excellent photos. Echoing the request for wheel size/offset, tire size, and which Eibach kit you used. Thanks for sharing!

The wheels are Rota Grids in 18x9.5 +38 all around with 255/35/18 tires all around as well.

Using an Eibach Sportline Kit with no camber bolts...very temporary, didn't even get an alignment because we're going to be swapping the suspension out with KW V3's so we'll dial it in after that.

As if I'm not worried enough about scraping on stock height (which I already have on my friend's driveway), this will cause me nightmares. Beauty none-the-less

1.4" all around.

Asterisked Accolade 09-18-2012 07:53 PM

Rota Grids are one of the best looking wheels for this car. (IMO)

RacelineUSA_Matt 09-18-2012 07:57 PM

Looks good! Too bad they're not real TE37s...

I've had 3 people in the car (don't ask how we fit someone in the back  ) and didn't have any rubbing issues.

SUB-FT86 09-18-2012 08:53 PM

Does it go over speedbumps with no problem?

You are on a square setup in the photos with the black grids??? Wow!:respekt:

Can I request some more photos on the front fitment please?

Wheels look great:thumbup:

I wish the car wasn't pearl white so i could get white wheels but they kinda clash to me, Blitz offers a wheel in pearl white just not sure how close it would be it would probably be worse.

AGM6789 09-19-2012 02:32 AM

I'm looking into getting these springs because the 1.4" drop is beautiful IMO. But I dunno if road conditions are worse here compared to there so still unsure if I should just go 1".
How does the drive feel?
Also what are the specs on the gold rims? rear seems to have more offset

The Black grids are not square, they are 18x8.5 +44 front and 18x9.5 +38 rear.

This is all the pictures we have of the gold / black setup

However, white setup will be posted tomorrow....the picture above is just a preview.

I guess it's hard to judge in pictures, but it looks pretty good in person, we took it to a local meet and got TONS of compliments on the white setup....definitely a keeper for me.

the 1.4" is really not the bad and it feels pretty much the same, with a little less body roll

perfect spring setup in my opinion.

Rears are a wider width, they are 18x9.5 +38....fronts are 18x8.5 +44

Sitting at the same height as my car. Looking nice!

There is always camber. You can't adjust the rear without adjustable lower control arms. My car is sitting about the same right now while I wait for the right set of arms. It drives fine daily, and I'm doing track runs soon at Laguna.

Got3n 09-19-2012 12:29 PM

Yeah i saw the pro kit and the drop is okay, though it seemed as if it was safer as i wont have to be too scared of speed bumps and steep curbs, but the sportline looks perfect

SLICVIC 09-19-2012 11:27 PM

lol "threw on some eibach springs cause we were too impatient waiting on our variant 3s" ballerrrr. haha gold looks good, white clashes but still looks good, not a fan of the black

Sorry for starting this thread up again but I was wondering what spacers you used for these cars. Thanks

Pretty sure the answer would be none. My wheels have fitment similar to the pictures in this thread, I do not have spacers either.

Also, reviving a 2-year old thread... :paddle: lol
