problems here, him and website states false inventory. My assumption is its easier to get the more popular and common items, i ordered tips that were " in stock" and were "going to ship next week" never came and still no foreseeable future (after numerous times being told next week)

he does respond to emails within 24hrs.
so far emails have not been reassuring anymore.

The blame probably isnt all on him, but frustrating being lied to. He does seem legit and im sure if i wait long enough ill eventually see my order.

I didn't lied to you. We ordered X quantity, but Japan shipped us X quantity. And they are having trouble with stock locally in Japan. They split the orders and shipment, and, I will receive the next shipment in a few days and it will cover 95% of the orders that we have got. Sometimes, things are out of control, especially, hot items like the 86 parts.
I am very sorry that you waited a long time, but I am trying my best to provide the best services and price to you guys.

I rather have a positive relationship with nigel-jdm, I will wait for Friday or Monday as stated in your other thread for a tracking number to see if this becomes a true date that you guys can manage.

And not just another unreliable date, where you aren't actually sure if you will have items to ship. (these "end of august," or "next week" are what i considered being lied to. told one thing that never happens.)

But i do appreciate the communication and hope to have a better view on nigel-jdm soon.

I didn't say you lied, but just be honest. You could have said we ordered 100 sets of clear side markers and they got split into 2 shipments from Japan. If you are honest people are understanding. When you say stuff will ship tomorrow and then nothing shows up, it's a little disappointing when we're paying good money for these parts.

I am not trying to give unreliable date to you guys, we ordered X quantity and expected X quantity to show up. We don't know the quantity that Japan are shipping are less than the quantity that we ordered until we unpack the shipment. We called and asked why. Then we got an answer, and they said they're back order and sending what they've first to us. Because we are rushing them every other days. We have expected date on the shipment, shipment arrived and we unpack it as soon as we can and count how many pieces are in there, that's why we give out expected shipping date. We knew the shipment arrived, but we don't know the quantity is less than what we ordered until the last moment.
Again, I am very sorry about the delay and trying to give the best I can.

Your order will be ship sooner than that. Only center caps are behind, all other parts are covered in the next shipment. Expect tracking # on FRI or MON.

My only complaint is they won't sell me the STI rims for 50% off ;)

I ordered an armrest that I thought was only available in Europe. Nigel told me up front it would take two weeks before it would be shipped. It actually shipped sooner. :-) He also emailed me a tracking email and I was able to follow the delivery of the shipment. It arrived as promised and it perfect condition. I would definitely recommend Nigel!

I've been happy with his service so far. Order the armrest and clear corners about a week or so ago and shipped without any issues. Scheduled to be delivered today. Can't wait.

I'm not so happy with my experience with Nigel so far. Poor communication and the website sucks as the inventory is incorrect.

I ordered two parts from him. First is the OEM armrest available in Europe for the FRS and the second part is the blue Subaru engine cover. I always try to order multiple items from vendors to save on shipping costs. I had everything in my cart and the armrest said 7-10 wait and the engine cover said "out of stock". I removed the engine cover from the cart and upgraded the shipping to 2-day air on the armrest. After a 7-10 day wait on inventory I didn't want to wait another week to ship from CA. I left a note during checkout stating that I also want the engine cover but the site says out of stock. No reply.

I then emailed him a day later and told him exactly what happened. He emailed me back the following day saying that the site is wrong and they do have the engine cover in stock. I said "great, I'll take it. Just send it with my armrest to save shipping costs." He replied and said that was fine. So I again went back to the site and purchased the engine cover (still says out of stock) and it made me select a shipping option. I selected ground as I already discussed with Nigel including it in my order for the armrest and explained in the memo box again. I also followed up with an email saying to send it two day with the armrest and refund me the difference. Another two days passes and he emails me to say that he is going to ship the engine cover now so I don't have to wait. Not what I wanted and I think he just wanted to so he didn't have to refund shipping costs. He said he would send it "tomorrow" at 3AM Tuesday night/weds morning here on east coast. I still haven't received a tracking number or an email saying that it has shipped.

At this point I'm getting upset with the company as the communication sucks.. Waiting days for a reply is total BS. Second, the website isn't accurate at all and caused these problems. I have spent an additional $20 to ship the second item that should've just been included with the first item as I requested from the beginning. Now the second item is no where to be found and no updates since Tuesday when he said it would ship tomorrow.

I, like many others, like knowing where my parts are after I pay for them. Maybe it's my OCD...maybe I'm always watching out for shady people. When I pay for a part it then belongs to me so I want to know where it is and when I will receive it. That's what tracking numbers are for. Perrin sends them out same day. So does FA20Club. So has every other vendor I have dealt with thus far.

I'm not happy at all currently and at this point I doubt I will order from them ever again. Sad because I have a long list of parts I'm ready to buy from the site but didn't want to send him $2k on a first order only to be screwed over.

Oh, one last kicker... I wanted the Red STi push button. I asked if his is the plug and play model or if it requires a re-wire of ignition harness. His reply was that he didn't know. How can I order a $150 button, only because its red, if I don't even know if it works with my car and either does the person selling it to me??

Bad experience so far.. I really hope he makes all this right as I'd love to order more but I have zero confidence at all in this company currently.

NIGEL-JDM Parts... Never again.

Aug 4th I ordered my center console panels, showing in stock, pay an extra 20$ for 3-5 day delivery on top of the 40-something they asked for to ship to Canada. I'm tall and my right knee hurts when I drive the car from rubbing on the center console all the time.

After 3 unanswered emails asking what was going on and requesting an update last week, I all I got an email with a tracking number saying it was shipped on the 15th.

We are now the 23th, end of day, and I still have not received my stuff. Maybe this week... Tracking shows it left LA on the 16th and stops there.

And they still dont reply to any emails asking about why it took over a week to ship my order, what's the point of paying extra for faster 3-5 business day shipping if you cant ship it to begin with?

I dont care about the 20$ as much as the delays and that is was supposed to be in stock and being offered an option to get it sooner. To ultimately get it almost 3 weeks later.

I'm done with my rant of the day...

Site says 6-8 weeks, so not stressing BUT... the last thread date was back in 2013!

They are still out and about, but getting things from japan does take a while. I had ordered a few things and it took a while, but they seem to get back via email fairly quickly.

FWIW - I placed an order Feb 16 and just got it today. A tad over 8 weeks.
Given their website says "6-8 weeks" I'd call that meeting expectations.

I ordered the TRD wing off their website. Shipping was $60. Sent by Airmail from Hong Kong. It's a genuine TRD part and packed VERY well. At $330 and change all in when I ordered it, I'd call that an incredibly great buy for an OEM part.

Soooo stoked to get it installed!

Nigel-jdm should not be a site sponsor. He/she has terrible communication and a reluctance to make up for their mistakes. You guys can see the timeline of my email communications with him below. Long story short, he mis-shipped my parts, and then failed to do anything about my order of OEM 86 clear corners for 3 weeks. My order was on Oct 29th, and the wrong items arrived at my door about a week later. I tried working with him, even helping him send the items he mistakenly sent to me to their actual destination, but I'm done being nice to him. All I got from him was a tracking number for a package that never left the point of origin for 2 weeks, and no information whatsoever on what was happening.

It's inexcusable to treat your customers like this. Oh and for those of you are wondering, and he never responded to my last email below. I'm still trying to get a refund from them at this point, and of course so far they have not gotten back to me about that either.

So i'm thinking about ordering a piece from Nigel-JDM but these mixed reviews got me kinda skeptical? Are they good or not? Also I was wondering if they allow pick up so I don't have to pay for shipping because I'm local to their location.
