The wheels came with valve stems but I'm planning on using the TPMS from the stock wheels. Also came with center caps. |
Enkei RPF1 Type II 17X7 ET48 Gunmetal (just mounted)
16.2lbs. Stock tires and lugs. Not sure I'm liking the center caps. I'll have to try it without them and see. Center caps  or  ?

Looks good!!!

Those do look badass, nice going with the rims.
|
A lot of people around here going with black wheels. It looks good, but i'm curious how they'd look in regular silver.
|
What the biggest size these are available in?

Stock tires
I was thinking about going with something like this. It seems silly to throw away the new tires that come on the car, or try to sell them of eBay which is a big hassle. Instead you have put the original stock tires on the new wheels, right?
This looks great. But can you please post some pics showing the width of the tires in this config? So with this setup, you only have to pay for the wheels, which I am assuming is $1100. Add mount/balancing, and you're done, right? I would however, go with a ProKit to lower the car by 1". I understand this might cost $250 for the springs and $350 for labor. So after everything is done, I would then sell the original rims for $150 each. This exercise would then result in a nice upgrade without too much cost or waste. I don't really like the center caps in your pics, as they don't match well. What are the options with this wheel? Nice posting! You've made a wise choice, I think. |

Nice.
Aside from having the fastest color, have you noticed a performance difference with the lighter wheels? |
Quote:
HOWEVER, I also had OEM crash bolts installed and a mild 'performance' alignment done so no telling how much the new lighter wheels are contributing to that versus the alignment. The stock front and rear toe settings were out of spec anyway. From what I've been reading that's not uncommon in these vehicles. Everyone should probably go have their alignment checked. Easy handling improvement and extend the life of your tires. |
But the Enkei RPF1 Type IIs are heavier than the original RPF1.

I have been looking for rims quite thoroughly for the past month. These are probably my favorite looking wheel. Good choice! Also, I would like to add you chose a 17x7 which will save 16 lbs. of unsprung weight. I love the way this car handles from the dealer, and the size you chose won't interrupt that balance. The car will be faster now and better looking. That is what I am all about. enjoy |
Looks way better than stock rims!
