I see an Aston Charger Volt 86 right there... do not want.

ichitaka05 08-31-2011 12:24 AM

feels like mix of Evo & FRS

Want.FR-S 08-31-2011 01:22 AM

Is this a FWD or 4WD/RWD? Looks like a FWD with copy-cat styling. The doors are cool, though.

looks more like a BMW X6 when you look at the other pics of the car.....

Ryuu0u 08-31-2011 12:07 PM

Competition would be really exciting to see. FRS vs new lightweight coupes as well as some other japanese revivals sounds fun.

Mr.Jay 08-31-2011 12:16 PM

Evo, x6, aston and frs rolled into one

Have you guys seen the video of what this car would supposedly be able to do?

The only thing missing is to detect when you are horny and call you a hooker. :bellyroll:

This thing will not probably be ready until 2050 and if it does actually make it to production it will probably come out with 1/10 of the features it's claiming it will have or be extremely expensive.

I was guessing based on the location of the front wheel. In the text I only see the plug-in hybrid part. Is there anywhere said this is not a fwd car?:search:

That's my point, looking at a concept car and saying "yep looks like a FWD" is like me looking at a piece of candy and saying yep, looks like it has nuts in it. :suicide:

Hence my question: Does anyone know which wheel it drives? and probably no one can answer that, right? :iono:

I don't, this is the first bit of info I've seen of this car.

Needs to be lowered a good 3-4" with slightly smaller wheels and tires.. Just kinda looks high!

Their hybrid architecture is FWD only. They would have advertised if they had built a RWD or AWD system.

Umm, a lot of the tech that they mentioned already exists. The only challenges I see is the environment communicating with the car. That depends on the embracement of electric cars, but no doubt soon cars will drive themselves and in this manner.

My feeling is this will never get made... although American companies are going to have to move away from Big V8's at some point, and seeing concepts like this is encouraging.

Ford are looking to put a 2LT in our Ford Falcon (big family sedan). That's coming from V8's, big turbo 6's, and big 6's. They also looking to go FWD from RWD. They keep on talking 'global platform' so you guys better watch out lol!
