Gold/bronze rims and emblems on a whiteout Fr-S?

I was thinking of adding some gold/bronze (like stil) rims like these. http://www.evolutionmr.net/img/forsa...s/goldte37.jpg

I was also thinking of adding the gold/bronze Toyota emblem

tell me what you think...

I want to say no, and I really hate to admit it, but it does look quite appealing to me...

gold is ok for the wheels

but emblems? :barf:

TOTO_86 09-07-2012 02:15 AM

Lol I like to match.

20valvewynn83 09-07-2012 02:37 AM

its your car and your choice just do what makes you happy

Calidrifter 09-07-2012 03:49 AM

i was just telling my gf that i was going to paint my emblems gold. i think gold looks good only on black and white cars so they will look good on your whiteout.

BRAWL 09-07-2012 05:33 AM

Gold can also work on Blue but nothing i would do. On white I reckon go for it :)

Rossman 09-07-2012 09:52 AM

The gold trim always reminds me of those old brass fittings for sinks etc. It looks old...out-dated...to me at least ;)

JoeBoxer 09-07-2012 09:59 AM

There are some matte white toyota emblems in the vendor classifieds, i have gold wheels on white and would go with those before gold emblems.

jadewbj 09-07-2012 10:03 AM

Gold wheels = Win. Gold emblems = Fail. If you want to match go with white emblems.

jadewbj 09-07-2012 10:05 AM

Or if you want to match do this.

Seen the cusco car in person and love those rims on that car

enjoi23 09-07-2012 01:30 PM

I would say go with a gold Scion Emblem if you had to do that.

just throwing more gold ideas out there, but look closely at the exhaust on this fr-s. it would go well with everything else you have

IMO I dont like the look of gold rims or gold anything. Being half black and growing up in the black community and seeing people do ridiculous gold 'bling' shit just ruined the color for me. On cars, at least.

PrinzJ 09-07-2012 06:12 PM

I like it, reminds me of the old celica with the four round head lights. but probably only cause i saw one today

Mr.Jay 09-07-2012 06:16 PM

No to the badges cause thats really not my thing but I think bronze rims would look better than gold also just more my taste

Hippophobia 09-07-2012 07:53 PM

I personally always liked the old gold toyota badges on the white Camrys and Corollas. I almost put them on my tC when I had it. And was considering it on my whiteout FRS but I'm not getting wheels that would match, so if anything, I'll slap on the chrome T's.
