Trying to find the toyota factory "option pack" High rise spoiler. HELP!

Like the title say i am trying to source a toyota option pack big spoiler. haven't been able to actually find one and find a price to go with it. All i am looking to get it the spoiler for now....not looking to spend $3000 all at once.

Let me know what you knows.:happyanim:

BTW this is what i am looking for.http://kereta.info/wp-content/upload...per-spoile.jpg

CBR600RR 09-01-2012 01:12 AM

Not sure man... But personally I think that spoiler looks worse that a pimple on a hairy fat mans ass. But to each their own.

xAgentzero13 09-01-2012 01:34 AM

I don't like it either. This is a rwd coupe not an evo or sti...i was about to say this ain't a subaru lol

boonFRS 09-01-2012 01:37 AM

That's the nur-spec wing I think. Carson Toyota has a preorder thread for it in the commercials sales thread.

Rofl! Ok, ok you're right! I will refrain from getting on the hate wagon! I wish you luck on your search. Forgive US. Sometimes we are a little harsh and the temptation often too great!

THANK YOU!

and of course the flaming begins off of a simple inquiry. (shake my head)...

czar07 09-01-2012 03:57 AM

Honestly it looks very similar to the Supra spoiler (in terms of how it makes the car look). Some people will hate it, others will love it. It looks great because the centre part is black and its shaped quite beautifully.

GaN-MaN 09-01-2012 04:03 AM

I'm with @czar07.
We both saw the same 2 86's with Aero Kits at our local meet in Western Australia.
I use to hate on it too.
When u actually see it in person, it suits the car damn well.

For those haters. See it before u hate it.
It's unfair to judge from just the pictures.

Khalis 09-01-2012 04:08 AM

That is indeed the NUR spec wing. However, as of right now, there doesn't seem to be any vendors in this forum or any other website that is selling it. Carson toyota would probably be your best bet in getting one in the future. Personally I love this wing but all my friends hate it. To each their own.

no because TRD

000 Racing 09-01-2012 05:57 AM

I think you will find this one was an Australian/New Zealand option with the 86 GTS only. New Zealand seems to be doing the whole kit for NZ$1400- and AUS model is A$3000- I don't know why.
Hope this helps
CR

000 Racing 09-01-2012 06:27 AM

Actually the NZ kit is NZ$1700 which is about US/AUS $1400-

czar07 09-01-2012 08:11 AM

it will be $1700 unpainted.

It's called anonymity, there are no real consequences for being a **** on the internet, as opposed to in person were they may get into an altercation.

I am under the mind set that it's your car, and as long what your doing isn't a safety issue (Tinted Tail lights) I say go for it. No matter how idiotic I (Hellaflush) or anyone else thinks it is, it's your car and it should make you happy.Fuck everyone else.:happy0180:

I like the wing, and hope you find it!

Edit: Wait **** is censored but fuck is not?

Have a look on the Australian / New Zealand part of the forum.. I am sure it was North Shore Toyota in NZ.. I am sure there is a link or a thread with their contact details.. I can't see why they would not send one.. personally I think the kit is bold.. the fact that so many are not brave enough to give it a go makes it rarer !!

I have secured one from another Aussie who ordered the kit but does not want the big wing. It will be great on my race car.. more sponsor room anyway..

Good luck and happy hunting.

Last i looked they had been banned because they weren't a vendor. But have a Google I'm sure you'll be able to track them down.

Lol, wtf?

Hotlava86 09-03-2012 12:14 AM

So i contacted this North shore and what i got back was that "the spoiler you may be referring to (pictured below) was an option ONLY offered when the car was bought and was fitted and installed pre-delivery and is not available after words) i cannot get that spoiler for you unless you want to come on down to the dealership and buy a new 86 with the aero kit installed. And YEAH he knew i was from America......SMH

RyleyMA61 09-03-2012 12:32 AM

I haven't read the whole thread, but:

A lot of aussies have orderd the kit with the idea of ripping the wing off and replacing with a TRD/5Axis one...

They might be able to help?

I saw one in person the other day and it didn't look as bad... the worst bit was the poxy wheels with the crappy offset... doesn't fill the guards at all...

This is the reason why I would buy it. Actually, not this one, but a BFW. ;)

NikostC 09-03-2012 12:52 AM

I like the wing too but i dont think it will be availiable until much later. I mean we don't even get the fog lights until January of 2013.

It is never going to be an option here. It is ONLY an option in AUS, EUR, and the down undah.

However in a turn of events the parts guy in New Zealand said he is going to make some calls and see if he can bend the rules and get me the Spoiler.

whataboutbob 09-03-2012 01:01 AM

I like the wing and the rest of this kit too.

Hopefully by the time the SuperCharger comes out I can afford both.

Agreed. It has "rice" written all over it.

Trust us, there is no shortage of nice cars ruined by cheesy exterior parts in the US specifically. For every 1 person that loves it, there will be 9 more laughing at it.

tayterlik 09-03-2012 06:07 AM

In Europe, this big wing is part of "Aero" kit, available for 1400 Euro. I am personally not fan of the look of it, and I would gladly replace even the "small wing" spoiler with TRD one, but it is not available yet in Germany, so I will keep GT 86 stock (expected delivery - end of October). Which means, small wing for me.

By the way, "hot lava" orange from USA is called "inferno orange" in Germany :) .

DR J 08-04-2013 09:55 AM

They have this spoiler and kit on some of the FT86s here in Germany but I still can't find it anywhere online for sale. I may just have to talk to a dealer...

No hate, it's just ugly.

Wise 08-04-2013 07:54 PM

The optional 'Ricer' pack. It's sold in Aussie showrooms.

I'm all for 'to each his own' but I can't stand the look of that kit. It completely ruins the elegant lines of the car and makes it look like a 90's civic.

Molotov 08-04-2013 08:11 PM

Aussie here. As above, it's called the "Aero Kit" here and it's only available on the GTS model. The spoiler is factory fitted and cannot be ordered separately. A lot of people that ordered the car with the kit have offered to do a "boot swap" with owners of normal GTS models. The general impression I get is that the rest of the Aero kit is desirable but the spoiler is a bit over the top. I think they would have been better served with the TRD kit as an option but that's just me.

m.box.design 08-04-2013 08:19 PM

frankly i think it looks better than the rocketbunny wing. to each his own. :)

Seems to be the goal of half of the stuff sold for the car. Retard Bunny in particular.

BadMoon 08-04-2013 11:41 PM

I'm not usually a fan of big spoilers. However I love this particular spoiler on these cars. I really do. I hope you get one. I would like one myself. :happy0180:
