its the same wheel sold here as the mb battle.
...on pretty much every drift car in the states and everything else for that matter.

empower-auto 08-31-2012 04:56 PM

looks like MB Battle's :P

VENOM~ 08-31-2012 05:35 PM

discount tire = http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...=Car%2FMinivan

empower-auto 08-31-2012 05:58 PM

It's really hard to put out a "new" wheel when someone is already making a knock-off of another wheel that came long before for dirt cheap.

ebphoto 09-01-2012 01:38 AM

cst was before mb.
these are knock offs of advan t7's so that is a moot point anyways.

Bomb3r 09-01-2012 02:01 AM

But why such weak offsets?

Seems like proper custom wheels is going to be the only way to get wheels to make these cars look good.

If Revspec is running the 18 x 10 +38 (?) sure companies will see that people want more aggressive spec wheels..

Because not everyone wants a 'stanced' 86....
Apart from being knock off rims, that offset in my opinion looks pretty clean on that car.

I bought 18x8 +42 because of the areas that I have to drive around, so having aggressive offset wasn't something I was willing to test.

Who knows, 'weak' offset may just be something that stands out from the hella flush crowd....:iono:

yep, for all the reviews available it seems a shame that many people still don't quite get it....

CTS wheels might not be the most "original" design, but given the amount of fan-boys reppin Rotors and so on, its hardly even a topic worth discussing.

They are light enough and known to be reliable. Im just perplexed as they have offsets that "fit well" on their target market cars, then they release their GT86 specific wheels in something a lot more conservative...

Im hardly a hella-flush type, but all these 18 x 8 + 48 whatevers isnt inspiring...

SLICVIC 09-01-2012 07:56 PM

i believe the CSTs are lighter than the MBs . wide and low offset models seem to only be available in 5x114 , i didnt even know they had these available in 5x100 at all until this thread lol. Love these wheels

ebphoto 09-02-2012 12:52 PM

if weak offset is standing out from the hellaflush crowd... then almost every owner on here is "standing out".
you can still run aggressive wheels without being hellaflush... look at the autofactory 86... aggressive with meaty tires and the car looks amazing.

cars running x8 +48 just look boring.. and cheap.. imo. Like wheels werent even thought out.

GregV 10-27-2012 05:26 PM

Pretty sure MB Battles do not come in 5x100

ebphoto 10-27-2012 05:41 PM

Unfortunately they are not. They have extra holes drilled into them but they are not for hub bolts

guess you are right.

Hi guys I am pretty picky when it comes to wheels and haven't found anything that looks good. Does anybody know what these wheels, or something similar to them, are called? The pic is in the attachment and they are in the top right of the pic. Thank you!

Evo2Brz 03-08-2014 03:40 PM

Look like Advans

@cjhopkins
CST Hyper Zero 1 OR MB Battles

problem is that they are 5x114.3, so you either convert hubs, run spacer adapters or pick another wheel

besides, every S-chassis under the sun has em, so you aren't missing anything.

edit: scratch that, you can find the CST wheels for the 86:

ort895 04-23-2015 06:35 PM

so apparently they have these in bronze, anybody got an actual pic of them on a 86?
