P&L today
 

I've finally broken my car out of dealership jail and will be headed over to P&L to get an exhaust put on my car + Dynos. If anyone is in the area and wants to meet up/check it out, swing on by.

Actually, tomorrow I have an appointment to fix a scratch I got on the front bumper at the dealer. Pm me though, we can meet up sometime soon. I don't think I'll be in until next thurs for a few dyno pulls.

I think I may have misunderstood Paul. I heard thursday but it was noisy where I was when I was talking to him. That is unless you bumped it a week.
I'm taking Friday off BTW. I need a long weekend :)

No, I'm doing Dyno next thursday, and intake + tune the week after.

I'm sticking with the P&L theme. So far so good. Besides, if I get their intake, I can bolt their turbo right up to it (if I go that route).

Was that confirmed by P&L? The intake tube in the turbo system goes to the turbo, not the throttle body as it does with the stock set up. Seems like it would be hard to make an intake that could do both and have them each work optimally. I suppose they could make their intake tube out of a piece of their intercooler piping, making the filter sit where the intercooler goes.... which would be awesome.

That's what paul told me when it was in R&D, I'll check up on it with him thursday.

Alas, there are no pictures or links. It's still in development and Paul doesn't like releasing information until everything is complete.

Any updates? Did you get on the dyno yet?

I did. Sorry, I've been really busy between work and studying, but with combo of the P&L Catback + front pipe/testpipe and the stg1 it was a gain of about 16 hp (I can't recall the TQ off the top of my head) or about 11% to the wheel.

I should have the intake done on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Not bad at all for bolt-on's and a tune on an N/A motor. Are you planning on hitting the dyno again after the intake?

That's the plan. I'm over at P&L so much the Paul is either going to have to give me a job, or file a restraining order.
