Not trolling and didn’t know the current pricing. Thanks it was $2000+ and heard they are no longer available so I priced accordingly, but really just looking to sell for market value.

Not quite sure but it is very much still in production...for both FA20 and FA24.
I think you can get a seller faster for about 60% of the MSRP. Just a suggestion.

I think the seller responded with why he didn't respond.

However, that's not a low-ball offer at all. These items sell for $1700 new. NEW, as in, warranty, support, business expenses (fabrication, coating, website, staff, profit, etc.) Ace makes a great product but if I have to pay 3/4 of the new price then I may as well pay the new price because I'm taking care of that vendor and that vendor will take care of me. Me selling a part that I bought new and then used and then tried selling at a higher price than makes sense is either just naïve or dishonest. It's a free country though so you can try to sell something for whatever the market will support.

Rather than ignore "low-ball" offers, how about not posting items for "rip-off" prices? Those things are both in the eye of the beholder.


IMHO, ~50% of the current selling price for an everyday item is reasonable.

No offense to you or anyone else is intended. It's just an opposite opinion to yours.

On principle, I don't sell much of anything on the internet. When I do sell something it's priced appropriately so I don't get people spamming my ad and cursing out other members...

The seller lives where I live. If this were priced appropriately, I would have tried to help him sell it in the local racing community. However, the ridiculous price and the lack of response makes me not waste my or his time.

Could have gotten away with it..but OP is just few years too late when this market place was still booming.
Hell, I bought really used front-only BBK (StopTech kit) for couple of years ago for "Fair" price at that time.
And now, there are others listing similar or even better value (with complete kit) for much less of the price I paid for - Yeah, I know Buyer remorse..But it is what it is.
Supply and Demand is the name of the game.
