We just picked up the GTSPEC / RavSpec co sponsor BRZ on Monday. With only 22 miles on the car, a total suspension, wheel transformation began.

I know the lateral side to side bar is doubled but one is a three point time the firewall.

I just have to say that those wheels are damn sexy...I think the stretch is a little too extreme for my taste but i understand that to get that stance you gotta stretch.

I just cant do white wheels where i live, too much dirt and dust in Phoenix...I'd be cleaning those wheels every day, its already bad enough that i have to clean my car every couple of days...

The wheels are interesting. It looks like the white on the car is different than the wheels. Were the wheels color matched or are they just white? I think the difference would drive me crazy.

Yeah, we just returned from Wekfest .. still doing alot of follow up work.

yup, we went with 245/35 at first to see the clearance. Since we still have alot of room left without rolling the fender, we will go with 255/35 next.

they came in 18x8.5 & 18x9.5, just half an inch slimmer

Those GTSpec rear camber arms look like they have a different design than: part# GTS-SUS-1376 for 08 Sti

Given that alignment, ride height, and tire sizing I'd go with "understeers"

18 is definitely the best size for the toyobarus!! Car looks great

@RavSpec, w/ the gtspec rear camber arms, does the 30mm bend raise the ride height and reduce bumptravel?

yes raise by about 1" to compensate for the bend due to the drop of the suspension.

Could you elaborate on that?

So if I were to install them on a completely stock car it would sit higher? Looks to me like the shock mount is lower down in the arm, which would lower the car with no other changes.

Thanks for working with GTSPEC and their product line. All pieces appear well designed and easy to install. I've looked across many forums without finding any quantitative analysis of before and after installation of any chassis products. Can you point me toward any analysis beyond seat of the pants?
