We since its the single exhaust you are going to save a few pounds. Also the cost around the same as the s2000 we sell now.

That looks sooo steam punk-ish to me. I love it. I want to hear it.

Looks good, so what did it make on the dyno?

xjohnx 08-29-2012 04:37 PM

is the tip intentionally off center, or is that just a matter of the R&D process?

From the site "Track and Dyno tested. Gains of +1.3 lbs tqe, +4.4 hp on a Mustang Dyno". ~$1000. I'm interested to see how it sounds.

xwd 08-30-2012 03:01 PM

What was the overall weight of the exhaust? Nice to see on the dyno some of the torque dip was filled in, definitely more important than just the peak torque gain.

Shave 10lbs from stock.

About to see what numbers the exhaust puts down with the front pipe added.

We have made this exhaust only for single users at the track to save weight and make a 70mm exhaust system.

Only 70mm but that is still enough for boosted cars.

Are you going to be working on a cover for the other sides exhaust hole?

Is the front pipe catless?

Foobar 01-12-2013 12:47 PM

I prefer a symmetrical look that comes with duals, but I have nothing against a single if we could get a rear bumper piece that deletes the second cutout. I'm actually surprised someone hasn't brought this to market yet.

this. i would love to run a single. i hate duals unless it's a true dual. it's so pointless. a cutout that some how looks OEM to pop in there would be sick. even if i have to drill holes, i don't care.

Evasive Motorsports 01-13-2013 11:17 PM

Front pipe is catless!

zkubidu 01-15-2013 12:16 AM

Hope this doesn't come off the wrong way, but you stated your exhaust to save 10lbs over the stock system. There are some other exhausts with similar weight savings, but are a dual system. Just wondering if there may be a future system with further reduction in weight? Thanks.

Captain Snooze 01-15-2013 01:46 AM

My philosophy is function>form but wow!! That looks like it should be in a Gallery of Modern Art.

Those other exhaust systems are im sure are 60mm. Our EVS system is a 70mm exhaust so many thats why its only 10lbs over the stock system. We have do tons of single exhaust systems for the S2000 and FR-S on the track and these are the best exhaust systems to run if you wanna save weight and add power.

I have one and I like it except for the fact I can't get the tip to align in the exhaust cutout. Every picture I see of it shows its off-center as well so I dont think its just a problem with mine.. Kinda annoying. Outside of that, I like the exhaust note and style.

awesome! thanks for the input guys. just the info i was looking for. i was debating between this and the T1R single exit as they're both good looking 70mm single exit catbacks, but this one is about $150 cheaper. i'm pretty sure i can live without it being perfectly centered. not a big deal. debate solved!
