1st Auto with Visconti E85 tune!

All I can say is "WOW"....What a difference it makes to run E85...I had Bill at Sprayit Racing download the tune and it was well worth the wait and time to get this flash. The butt dyno read a substantial difference off the line and of course top end acceleration....John is a mastermind when it comes to these tunes!!:thanks:

Jordo! 08-18-2012 10:30 PM

Before and after dynos?

white devil 08-19-2012 07:56 AM

The dynos prob won't happen due to the fact that I have access to zero dynos in Gainesville and travel every stinkn weekend...I'm sorry....it's still well worth the money for the flash!!!

Visconti 08-19-2012 09:01 AM

Glad your enjoying it.

I hope to make more improvements on this shortly but based on the logs the car looks fun!

John

Need more info I am thinking about spending the extra on the e85 tune.

Lonewolf 08-19-2012 04:40 PM

I'm glad to see that someone is looking out for the auto folks since the other tuners don't seem to care about them...

What would you like to know?

JoeBoxer 08-19-2012 11:00 PM

Basically what the car feels like on the e85 compared to the 93tune, i made my final payment yesterday on the group buy wondering how much faster it feels and what would the effects be going back and forth or running e85 100% of the time.

Well i just looked and the closest e85 is 30 miles away but it is in my hometown that i visit often. I will probably hold off for now unless I move back which is a possibility.

No effects - just need to run low on pumpgas before running e85.

I would run e85 all the time if I could..

The car is fast as **** with the e85 tune.

You dont even know !

JoeBoxer 08-19-2012 11:09 PM

Guess I will see how it feels after the 93 tune, I can get e85 in my hometown when i go back which is pretty often.

I can't wait until i see Paid and Shipped next to my name i keep checking lol.

white devil 08-20-2012 01:08 AM

I didn't flash the stg1 tune first....I went right for the E85 and was happy with the tune (at first I had 1/2 93 and 1/2 E85)....Once the car had 100% E85......WOW!.....noticeable difference.....I was no longer happy, but instead delirious...

CBR600RR 08-20-2012 10:14 AM

^ thanksa man!

Memphis 08-20-2012 11:37 AM

Its unfortunate that there are no E85 gas stations around here. There is however race gas at the track :)

NeedsmoreCowbell 08-20-2012 12:20 PM

two questions if you don't mind.

1. Did you have the chirps, or chirping before going e85?

2. Do you hear chirps, or chirping on e85?

Thanks

white devil 08-20-2012 03:05 PM

chirps? tire?

You'll like the 93 flash, but you'll love the E85 flash

If launch control can be added im def in.

I had paddle shifters for my M3 and launch control was still stock with it.

I know they are different cars but would be cool to have it.

SnapOv3st3r 08-20-2012 09:33 PM

So this is an e85 tune on a stock car?

BAE 08-20-2012 10:19 PM

Do you need any upgrades to the fuel system to run E85?

I read the main thread about this tune.... apparently not from what everyone is saying.

Fuel system seems to be okay but just remember no one has ever tested the high pressure fuel pump or injectors for longevity on E85.

Depends what you mean by "longevity"....I've read that subarus have been running E85 for a few years with no ill affects

Oh cool. I imagine the tune took out the valley around 4k rpm.

white devil 08-21-2012 08:54 AM

I haven't been able to access a dyno to confirm it but I can tell you it feels a lot better than it did
