Well now, it turns out I didn't even own a GR86 yet. LOL. Went and bought one. Was gonna do my own livery of some kind, wasn't sure exactly what, but then found someone made a livery with one of my favorite anime. So I decided to use that and put the number 12 along with my forum name and a windshield banner.

As far as driver's aids, I think it should be limited to ABS and TCS. That should appease everyone. No racing lines (as much as I liked using them in GT Sport).

Isn't the driving line turned on/off by individual setup isn't it?

Yes but I think in the server settings you can set what can and can't be used. There are a ton of options and more to come.

Ah~ gotcha. Why do I sense that when we do Fuji Speedway, EVERYONE gonna be wrecking at the first corner :lol: :lol: :lol:

I have to dig in into the server settings and see what can be allowed. I personally like using racing lines and ABS on. Everything off after that. Mostly because I'm not too familiar with the tracks. But we can all agree the terms as we move along.



I was also thinking about the point system. We can have an F1 point system since there is no way the cars will DNF because of the non existing damage model. That way we can mitigate the event that two or more drivers end up with the same points at the end of the series.

-stock GR86 or PP adjusted GT86/BRZ
-soft sport tires
-weak ABS
-no stability control
-TC 0-2 based on preference
-Braking zone based on preference (this will avoid pileups at the end of long straights)

ABS as preferred
No ASM
TCS as preferred (I personally have it off)
Collision penalty
Pit lane cutting penalty
Track limits on (although the penalties for this can be very stupid)

Other than that. I think 5 laps is pretty fair per race, unless we do the Nurburgring Nordschleife which I think could be 2 or just 1.



Next item is schedules, you might be married, single, so taking the 30 mins or so per race might come at an inconvenient time depending on the day. So let me know your thoughts and the highest amount of TYs gets the final say.

I'm in favor of what you've outlined above. Regarding TCS I agree with keeping it shut off, however if others feel strongly about wanting the option to use it that's fine with me. I'm in favor of most races taking around 30 minutes time, including qualifying. If we want to make them longer, or maybe just for a few "special" events, that would be cool.

Scheduling for me, any day other than Tuesday should work. I'd prefer events on weekdays over weekends but am somewhat flexible.

Driving Style (?): I try to drive as clean as possible. I usually only bump into someone from behind if I've drastically miscalculated the braking distance or are in the process of spinning out (lol). Dive bombing is cheap and I try to avoid at all costs.

Thursday to Saturday works for me. I'd DNQ any other day unfortunately (unless it's a 7PM race).

Yeah Saturdays are probably the only day I could do. Thu I have bowling and Fri is pizza night at my rents house. I wouldn't plan around me though I don't think I can commit to anything for sure on a weekly basis. Bowling season is over though in like 4 or 5 weeks.

oh shoot that's right. Will have to change those and get back to you. Someone hacked into my PSN account once, bought a bunch of games with the credit card and then changed the password so I've been paranoid.

We can have a thing where we start off the race opening a beer, but you have to finish it before the race ends. But in order to do that you must come to a full stop every time you take a sip.
