No. It's 20 grand. That's just stupid.

soundman98 11-12-2021 12:52 AM

for $20k, i expect everything 100% works, gauges, radio, hvac, and they have a 24/7 customer support line.

$20K for a twin-shaped sim? *irony intensifies*

beltax90 11-12-2021 01:59 AM

had heard all kinds of crazy stories lately but the used car market has really gotten outta hand!

if only there was something that could be bought for 20k that could give you the experience of being out there on the open road!!!

And if you crash it destroys itself and you have to fight with insurance to get it repaired. May as well go for the real experience.

Sasquachulator 11-12-2021 11:16 AM

Pay 20 grand for the fake virtual experience, or pay 20 grand for the real thing.......

at least this way you can mod the car to have a V8 and other stuff and then you can say to the real lifers that THIS is how the car should have come from the factory at this price.......

Internet wins again!

Or maybe this is a preview of what an EV twin will be like......

This is a solution in search of a problem.

I wonder if it rattles when someone walks across the floor

Actually dope.

Good use of interior pieces that would probably just go to a dumpster.

Does the shifter rattle at the top of 4th and 5th gear?

For 20 grand it should be hard to get into gear on cold days.

Grady 11-12-2021 07:34 PM

It is only worth 20 grand if the airbag blows when you crash!

It is a race "sim" it probably doesn't have 4th or 5th gear.

Asseto Corsa does !!! I drive the GT86 all the time around the Nordschleife. They did fail to simulate the torque dip though.

That's a pretty glaring fail. Can you set it to have sloppy cv joints?

No, they missed a lot of the fine details. No crickets at idle and it doesn't fuel starve on long left handers :sigh:

These are all doable.

My understanding is this one is realistic, Comes with torque dip, Crickets and in the modification program if you boost to 301 hp the engine blows.

But that's... literally not true though lol

Using a tool that unencrypts the data it very obviously has a torque dip under the power file, done in NM/RPM. The torque dip isn't a loss in power IRL or in game, it just means the rate of increase in power (torqueXrpm) is just less before the rate increases as you get out of the dip.

Doesn’t feel like it is there. Power wise the car in AC feels very different to me.

I was never on the hook. You're on the hook for disappointing me.

I think this was the turning point where I felt Primus didn't exactly suck
