I'm really excited about the new Camry( seriously? Yes). My family has owned 4 Camrys in the last 18 years. Hearing the car is going to be the best Camry ever, I can't help but to get excited.

Hope they changed that bulbous looking front end and gave it the aurion look.

Not to be a downer, but "the best Camry ever" doesn't really say a whole lot. It wouldn't take much to be the best looking Camry and calling the interior "lackluster" would be more than generous. They're not going to make it more fun to drive, it's not marketed towards a demographic that gives a squat about that. If they improve on already impressive fuel economy, well that isn't all that exciting either. :iono:

Also, we've had at least one Camry in the family every year since 1989 so don't think I'm a Camry hater. ;)

I always liked the current camry exterior, I feel this one won't look as great.

I have no reason to shop Camrys or that category, but the 2012 Azera looks phenomenal. That's probably a slight tier above Camry, but the Sonata is aging well too.

The "teaser" made me laugh though. Like a camwhore sending you a pic of her elbow or something...

I couldn't see the back end yet, but the front looks great actually. I'm actually quite surprised.

They look pretty nice from that distance. Really damn shiny too ;)

definitely not diggin the chrome strip on the grill, the whole thing looks like a bastardized american "luxury" car. i like the current camry way more.

That doesn't match the teaser headlight imo. I'm thinking this thing will come out a bit more boxy, with hopefully a better stance. I think Toyota is a bit threatened by the new Taurus.

The thai spy hot looks boxy and has a horrible stance ;)

2012 Camry Hybrid Spy Shots.

It makes sense in a very class driven basic sedan kind of way. Maybe I'm used to seeing all the Sonatas and Optimas people around me are buying.

I got sleepy just looking at it. Sonata looks a lot better IMO.

^ I just saw the post on autoblog.

When the 2006 camry came out, I thought the new exterior was a huge improvement. This one looks, well, bland. Not awful, just not more "zesty". Honda and Toyota are being a little conservative on the looks lately...
