looking good :D what kind of exhaust is that?

Mild2Wild 08-13-2012 08:53 PM

can we get a pic of front poke please? looks pretty good with matte black on the red...

epson1 08-13-2012 09:14 PM

Its a 6lb aluminum exhaust. Don't waste your time. 90% of the people on this board think aluminum is a bad idea. Apparently its a matter of time till it melts or something.

But let me say it sounds like a pissed off 370z with a little bit of Honda rasp in it.

DarrenDriven 08-15-2012 05:20 AM

I had these wheels in 19" on my 350Z roadster. :)

avant garde m310??

alright been thinking of these lately since they're both affordable and look good. i like the fact that they're aggressive for 5x100's which isn't the case for a lot of wheels...

they're a bit heavy tho around 22-23lbs but it's a good DD/street wheel. only have matte black available for us 5x100 people and only available in 18x8 +30 and 18x9 +30.

what do you guys think??

Almost bought them after seeing these pictures..

After calling and finding out the weight I went with wedssports. Man do they look awesome though! As a DD that weight won't be an issue.

compared to all of the offerings in 5x100 from enkei and other companies offering mesh style wheels.. uhh.. yeah.. 18x8.5 +45... granted people from hella-gay won't think this is aggressive at all lol

easy to fit those x9 +30 with a bigger width 245... dont see the issue that would cause a "hella-gay" hellaflush comment though.

that 8.5 +45 is conservative... and personally, would look boring.

i'm not saying these are super aggressive... all i'm saying is that they're functionally aggressive. nothing aggressive as with the likes of "hellaflush"... that is actually my plan for these. 225 up front and 245 rears. should've just left out the whole "aggressive" comment since that has become the main point of discussion instead of the wheels themselves...

JoeBoxer 01-15-2013 02:25 PM

I like those, sizes are similar to my new wheels but those will stick out 5mm more in the rear. Here's a link to mine...

It will look good, Really like the wheels btw. Mesh with slight concave = sex

Mister_Sir 01-15-2013 10:16 PM

+30 "aggressive"? thats more like flush. I'm running +25 offset with my xxrs. IMO thats a perfect offset for an aggressive look.

alright after those last pics it's decided haha these sit perfectly. i liked the enkei raijin's but the offsets are just weak and they don't have the concave faces like these do. thanks for the replies guys :party0030:

djdnz 01-18-2013 01:07 PM

I've been talking to them about getting higher offsets. More in the +40 range, like the properly sized wheels for our cars.

If you plan on dumping the car and running camber like the orange one, then they are flush.

But if you are more like me and want a 25mm drop with minimal camber and proper size tires, then they poke. Try emailing them as well if you are interested, I have requested 18x8 +38 and 18x9 +40 I think. That is dead on flush with a 20-25mm drop, minimal camber and full size tires. (225 and 255)

awesome i definitely will. that is the exact route i plan to follow and the offsets that i was initially looking for. i don't want to run crazy negative camber settings and don't want to be running a 225 on a 9 inch wheel... form+function is what i'm after. thanks for your input! :happy0180:

autobahned 10-05-2013 03:02 AM

With the weight and offset, how do you feel about the steering response"

Whiteoutjames 04-20-2014 07:48 PM

I'm thinking about these for my White Out FRS but matte black or machined silver?.
I almost feel black wheels are played out but this pattern on pearl would be wicked

Agreed! I'm only on eibach springs. Rear LCA so I could adjust camber to fit my 255/30-18. Front desperately needs camber bolts lol

Adjustability is a beautiful thing indeed :party0030:

Eibach's still give you a decent drop, I think it would look good just as long as you aren't running a stretched tire or anything
