BRZ STI?
 

I haven't picked up my BRZ yet, still waiting around since I've heard of the BRZ STI in the works. Anybody have any details?

Seems like a new thread on this topic comes up every other day.

I second this...it takes only a few seconds to search for a word or topic here before making a dupe thread.

Normally I would agree. But I've tried searching multiple times for STi titled threads and get nothing. It seems as though STi is to short a word for the search filter.

I think that the Mods really need to pick a "BRZ STi or 2014MY BRZ" thread and make it a sticky for all of the gossip and lies.

Well, that's because there really isn't much out there other then what we know about it. I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't hear more about it till next year.

Maybe a BRZ STI sticky?

I heard its going to be AWD and have 300hp. STI means AWD right?

I already ordered mine, they told me bi turbo fwd.

It already exists in this form. Much like the Legacy and Forester, there is no badged STI being sold but a slew of STI parts are available. The "Subaru STI" will not have Impreza in its name in a couple years. Because of that, I'm starting to doubt there will ever be a BRZ STI but it might happen overseas and cost twice the price of the base model like the TRD GT86 lol.

Ok. Let's put out the baddest assed car on the road with it available in two different brands.

Then let's keep procudtion extremely limited worldwide so that demand will far outweigh supply.

Then let's immediately put out an even more baddest assed higher trim with more do-dads and fiddly winks the next model year.

While we are doing this let's also introduce a new Impreza model, Forester and possibly a hybrid or like vehicle.

Short summation:

Yes it's coming.

No we don't know which model year it will be. But likely it will be announced at the next Tokyo Auto Show.

Nothing's confirmed about forced induction, power, etc.

It will probably look very similar to the pic Switchlanez posted; i.e. simple body mods, different wheels.

And forum search is the only way to search, right? Oh, wait.
