You'll have to specify the dyno and conditions for a meaningful survey.

On 1 pull on a dyno never to actually be used after?
At least one 1/4 mile run putting down a trap that reflects? Daily rev limiters? Tracked? Garage queened? Way to many variables to have any meaningful numbers posted without context. I believe some people have hit 500s on a dyno. But either blew shortly after or never actually made 500 on the street. A reliable daily driven, multiple redline pulls a day for years to come. if you can do that on 450whp all the time that would be impressive. |

Can we show squirrel power instead? I don't like using HP since the number is so low it makes me feel inadequate. Maybe I should see a doctor.

HP is numeric, lets keep the responses numeric lol

I was last dyno'd at 176whp and 146lb/ft of torque. So... pretty modest. I plan to do another dyno run at the same shop now that I have flex fuel available.

If you really want to make the most HP need to make sure you have blue painters tape and some mediocre fiberglass skills. That is an inside secret, don't tell anyone.

Good luck. Let us know when you get over 500whp. |
From what I have seen during my time on this platform high HP motors don't last very long. Good luck.

Hoping to dyno mine this summer. Been running 26psi for over a year now. No issues, but everything was replaced in the drivetrain to support it.

I remember spitfire481's build that pulled 666hp at 28psi and he ran out of injector. Then he broke a set of DSS axles, then the oil pump exploded and he ended up 2j swapping it. That was the previous highest HP FA I had ever found online. https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...&postcount=217 |
235 running 91 gas, 310 with e85. Dyno sheets are out there somewhere, I think in old dyno day thread in Nor Cal section.
Spell changer changes dyno to dunk. I wish I had a doughnut with my coffee now. |

I don't think there are many people that push tons of power on the FA20 that hang out on these forums.
Most who want power don't want to deal with FA problems anymore and spend the value of the car putting something else in it. There's a 2J car in locally that pushes 1000hp. It's being detuned because it's useless to drive. Can't even hook on the highway. |

https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51890 I was always curious how LA SLEEVE's build held up and if it still runs today as they did a pretty decent job and the HP levels are not as overwhelming - maybe more realistic for a peak on this car that could potentially last. https://www.lasleeve.com/tech/laslee...0whp-brz-build |
