The BRZ and FR-S are really growing on me visually. I think this car is going to be a true classic one day.

Ok we won the Aston comparo but we lost this one haha. The 458 is a crazy looking car but it pulls it off. I agree that our cars will look great and will become classics. I hope it will be know as the car that brought driving back to the people and started a revolution. In 30 years we will be seeing it roll across Barrett Jackson for a decent price. I hope a few of the original 86 are saving theirs for prosperity.

I didn't think it was possible to make the BRZ/FRS look fat and bloated and round.. but that Ferrari sure does.

458's are a thing of beauty.... then again you can have 6 BRZ's for the price of one 458. It would've been a fun comparo with a LR BRZ vs it.

This photo is shot with a wide angle lens so the BRZ looks bigger. In person they are not that different in size.

The one thing BRZ has over the Ferrari is it has a manual trans. :-)

The Ferrari website lies. The car is much MUCH heavier than that. Road & Track's example weighed in at 3490 lb, 20 lb. *heavier* than the awd Gallardo they were testing it against:

Perhaps a better analogy would be the Ferrari being a Super Model and the BRZ just happens to be someone like a Felicia Day, a Danica McKellar, or a Mila Kunis - a seemingly down to earth approachable gal who you can have fun with and still think the world of, rather than a high maintenance sophisticated woman who you have to constantly worry about.

Something like that anyway... What the hell do I know, I don't have a Ferrari nor do I hang out with Super Models. :lol:

458 is just too sexy. Dream car with the Aventador.

They didn't lose over 400 lb. between 2010 and 2012.

Fact is, Ferrari lies about the curb weights of their cars.


Regarding BRZ vs. 458, the BRZ is taller, thinner, and *much* lighter-weight :D

458 is a more curvaceous and, dare I say, Rubenesque...

But against 99% of the other cars on the road, the BRZ (kinda) looks like an exotic car, so I'd be willing to take those odds. :)

Probably just me but I think the 458 is like one of those girls who looks stunning from behind, but :thumbdown: when she turns around. The headlights, the strange triangular gap between the hood and the bumper, and the tentacles are just strange.

Looks awesome! I can't believe the car's roof is almost as low as the Ferrari's!
