WTAC 2012- Eastern Creek Raceway - Saturday 11th August - updated
 

Spoke to the people that are working on their 86 projects, most of them saying that they are developing a kit for it and will be avalible in a couple of months, i.e. BULLET Supercharger, WHITELINE stuff, HALTECH....and many more! I've also spoken to some guys from Garage 88. hung out with @st162celica, met up with to Dave from @gtauto and @m0nty. awesome guys! LOVELY HKS 86, forgot to take a photo with the show girl! GAH MISSED MY CHANCE! anyways...

Below are all the 86s and BRZs i could find! it was an awesome day at Eastern Creek Raceway, weather was overcast and bloody windy! Enjoy!

Specs on the HKS car wheels are...

ADVAN RS2 18x8 +48 with 235/40 AD08
ADVAN RS2 18x9 +48 with 255/35 AD08

Car is super dirty now and doesn't look anywhere near that pretty anymore. Had a great weekend with the guys doing really well with sales. No mods other than a Legamax exhaust and the wheels. Ill be back next year with something a little more "worked".

Supercharger kit will be "under $10K". Which I think includes an EcuTek tune. They drove it from QLD and will drive it back. So I guess the prototype it working ok. Think it's quite low boost ATM.

Missed the HKS one? Where was it?

i was there on friday, took alot of photos of the 86 too haha...

Part number? can't find it anywhere.

The WR Blue car on the Yokohama stand had the STI side skirts and they were completely different to those white ones. I think these ones could be the TRD side skirts. Just call MRT tomorrow and find out.

what is the expected gain/hp/torque on the sc?

also the boost level and any internal mods required?

very keen on details. price is within budget depending on results.

Yeah the side skirts on the MRT one are not STi, the STi ones are like the front lip (and the bottom line kit too)

Just received a reply from MRT and have confirmed that they are TRD Side Skirts.

From the picture, it looks like fitment is spot on. Looks great.

Are you serious? Maybe you were too busy looking at the HKS girl instead?

Nice girl too. The standard of promo girl this year was below par. Lucky Bruce stepped it up. Hankook also brought their A game. The rest? Meh.
