New England FRS allocation ??
 

Hey guys :)

I have seen a lot of info regarding BRZ allocations for New England, and know one just arrived (congrats to anyone taking delivery as well! :thumbup:). Any news on Scion/FRS allocations for the area ? Been waiting patiently as everyone else has attempted to do, ha ....:mad0259:

Check Ira Scion. They had three 6mt FR-S's when I was there last Saturday. They're the highest-volume toyota dealer in New England, so I guess they can leverage that into more cars (I didn't see any other dealers in the area with multiple FR-S's).

I placed an order 7/14 with Balise Toyo/Scion here in western MA. Been getting the run around as far as shipment/delivery goes (and being without a vehicle for more then a month is now getting tough to manage :thumbdown:). Supposed to call again Friday to see what the deal is this week, hopefully will have some sort of news. If not, I may have to get deposit back and see what I can do. If anyone else has any news on New England allocations please do share ! You guys are all the best ! :thanks:

I know the Scion in my town (Portsmouth, NH) has 2 FRS 1 manual 1 auto

My FR-S I ordered should be arriving at the port in NY today (8/9/12) and I'll get an actual arrival date today also. I assume it will be only a matter of time before they all arrive at the dealers.

Ira is showing 4 in stock now, 3 manual and 1 auto.

The crazy thing is, none of those are the ones I saw Saturday. They sold all three off the lot last Saturday.

Wow, they are getting em' pretty quick over there. If the deal falls through with the dealer I'm working with now, I will have to figure it out. Gonna be a bit of a pain if thats the case, because I am using my current car as trade-in, but the tranny blew :cry: - so shes just sitting at my current dealer now waiting for the deal to be finalized. If this doesn't work out, towing it somewhere even farther will be a pain unless 100% covered by my insurance companies towing. :bonk:

I ordered it about a month ago, within the first week or two of July. So I actually didn't wait too long. I'm glad I didn't go with an auto because all the manuals were scooped up literally days before I started looking myself.

i ordered mine from Riverhead Toyota on July 13th
supposedly its coming 8/20 to NJ port

I have the VIN already :)

Jokes aside, I'm curious as to what asphalt looks like in person. I've seen every other color other than hot lava and asphalt.

I bought my car from them the last week of may. The arrival date kept changing, it doesn't seem like anyone at the dealership every really knows when it will arrive. I was told it was going to show up every day for like a week and a half. So best of luck with your wait, what did you trade on it? What sales guy are you dealing with?

Keep an eye on all the paperwork and make sure its what you agreed to before you sign it! They are pretty good as far as dealerships go but still aren't afraid to try to slip stuff in hoping you won't notice. They screwed up a ton of stuff the day I was picking up my car and I had a 2 hour fight trying to make them straighten it out.

I originally was leaning towards whiteout. then I saw the asphalt in person and immediately knew I had to have it in that color. (If I was going with the BRZ, would be WRB hands down!) Hopefully if I get it soon we can meet up with some other guys and i'll show her off! ;) Maybe I'll even have it before the next epic drive event is planned for fall foliage !

Good to know there are some other BRZ/FRS' in the western MA area ! Originally they told me 3-4 weeks, so I am not going to complain to them ... yet, as I'm at the 4 week mark just about now. We will see how my phone call goes to them tomorrow.

I traded in a 07 Mazda6 (if you are from Western MA, you may have seen me driving around, had the pink EVO wing on it, Magnaflow exhaust, some other small mods at one point or another before I let it go down hill LOL):bonk:

I've been working with Justin Carlson there, so far he has been great. One of my friends from work, knows one of the managers and told her to hook me up with a stand up guy there who doesn't BS around. I will definitely be keeping an eye on all of the details however! An update to my other post in this thread, my FR-S arrived today (8/14/12)! I ordered about a month ago, I suppose 7/14 because I don't remember exactly.

I have a few FRS coming into my dealership as well as a few i should be able to get allocated to me with a deposit

Asphalt looks good. They had an auto at the dealer in Lynn, MA that I drove out to see because I was leaning towards that color. I actually ended up with hot lava because it was on the lot and my wife is impatient.

I finally got an update from the dealership ! should be in Friday, I can probably pick her up Monday/Tuesday. I wont hold my breath for Saturday, lol. Cant wait ! :burnrubber:

toyota/scion on rt 44 in raynham ma has a red, silver, and black for sale. Not sure if they are mt or at though.

they told me mine was gonna arrived at the port on 8/20 and then 5 days for it to come to the dealer

I have a Raven FRS AT and a Firestorm FRS MT that should be at the port if anyone is interested
