Everything shisha related....

So me personally.... Got into it on a trip to Bali.....

As soon as i got back home purchased a Hookah online a bunch of tobacco and some coals... Some tobacco got through customs, some got taxed a fortune...... Ive been using Starbuzz, Al Fakher, Fumari, and Fantasia...

I get pretty mean headaches from the stuff as i dont smoke cigarettes but am getting used to it... Its washed tobacco so im surprised i get the headches but anyways...

Favourite flavour is Grape but yet to find a brand as good as what i had in Bali. At the time i had no idea there was so many brands and never thought to ask the shisha bar... A lot of the grape flavours ive had since have a strong ketchup hint to them, especially Al Fakher...

Best flavour ive had thus far is Fumari White Gummy Bear.......

Worst has been Romman, it smells like MIG gas, and Starbuzz Fuzzy lemonade, its smells like vinegar......

A bothered kid? The shisha bars in perth are pretty average and too expensive IMO.... Flavours are limited and most only stock fake Al Fakher because importing legitimately is way to costly.....

You save so much by just getting your own. In fact you save right off the bat vs. going one night to a hookah bar.

Anyway I know many guys/girls that are into this stuff so it kind of hard to not participate with them, even though I don't normally smoke or not as much before. I couldn't tell you how many hookahs my friends have lined up around there house. And I've never got headaches before, but sometimes I do like getting light headed. :happy0180:

How much does it cost for a smoke at the restaurant near u btw? And what brand tobacco?

umm around $30 and not sure what tobacco, not into it so much as to ask this(not like ordering a wagyu steak i have to see it before its cooked) i'll ask next time we find a good place

The point is you can smoke whenever you want. You dont have to leave the house or even put on clothes if you dont want to. Why such a **** about it?

I worked in a shop that sold all of the brands and I still like starbuzz the best. I have a little mya but dont use it much anymore. In college everyone was all about getting the biggest baddest hookah but I was the only one without burns all over my carpet. The little guy cooled as well as the big guns and never tipped.

Just got some romman grape..... Smells like Mig welding gas!!!!. The smell was worse than the smoke but id give it a 2/10 overall... Used my alien phunnel bowl but i hate it.... Got some fumari Grape also and it smells much better than the romman... Gonna try that tomorrow..... Too hard to get a good pull because the foil blocks the hole....

In all got 450g of different tobacco... Customs even opened it and i didnt get charged tax!!! Yay!! Would have cost me $200 in tax for 450grams in Australia....

I've been to the hookah lounges here here in SD, Fumari, Med Cafe and Sapphire lounge but it gets expensive. I ended up buy a med sized hookah for $35. I literally only used it to smoked 3 times.

btw, white gummy bear is really good or one combo that I like is triple M (mint, mango, melon)

I had several small MYA's and a couple of the generic taller ones. A few friends saw my first small hookah and were completely blown away by the amount of smoke that thing put out. MYA's are awesome, $30 and you're set.

If you guys havent, check out Starbuzz shisha. It is delivers the most taste out of any shisha I have tried and it has about a medium buzz level. Triple X is really tasty but all of them have more flavor than Al Fakhar.

Agreed... White Gummy Bear is one of my favourites for sure..... Its by Fumari if anyone has not tried it yet...

Al fakher is good but they have some dodgy flavours IMO and yeah not as consistant as Starbuzz.....
Ahhh..... The little bambino.... Do they rust much???


So far there are only a few flavours that i will keep in my collection long term...

They are:
Starbuzz Orange...
Fumari White Gummy Bear
Starbuzz Melon Blue... Like hubba bubba bubble gum
Fumari Grape until i find a better grape flavour
Al Fakher Gum mint.... The mint flavour is way to strong for me, gum mint is a bit lighter....

Fumari Island Papya is nice but i get sick of it quick...

Everything else ive tried has been chemical or just yuk...

My favourite mix is orange and mint atm....

I wanted to look into opening a lounge in Perth, Australia but with the tax on tobacco and everywhere becoming smoke free its almost impossible unless done on the dodge which would have me shutdown pretty quick... And no one wants the herbal stuff, its sh*t......

Found Hooked on Hookah in Colorado Spring through hookahnection and it lived up to the hookah reviews featured on the site. They have everything by way of hookah tobacco, hookah flavors and complete hookah accessories. There is something to smoking hookah in company that you cannot get smoking alone. Wish you would review more such lounges. Are there any here in Texas?

Depends where in texas, in houston, near hwy 59, cafe layal and Mary'z. There is also karma on fm 1092. Those are all I know of.

P.s. layal has 2 locations, one on Richmond ave and one in midtown
